Fresh mexican food, great margaritas and quick service for those in a hurry. Friendly, attentive staff with great attitudes.

Located on the corner of Saginaw and Court Street is a wonderful example of a Mexican restaurant, the decor is colorful and vibrant which sets the mood for having fun. It always seems to be very clean and the service is also very good. As for the food, I really enjoy there enchiladas, and they have a unique twist on... More

Wonderful food. My fave has peppers, pork and a great sauce! Hubby likes the dish that has just about everything on it. Really good.

The food is good. There are a couple dishes that you don't see on other Mexican food places. The Margaritas are good and pack a bit of a punch. All in all, a good experience.

We called in a take out order, and my husband stood and waited to cash out for 10 minutes as our food sat on the counter. The gal was across the bar, filling water glasses and chatting to a customer, instead of getting us our food . When he mentioned the fact that he had been waiting for 10 minutes,... More

Being from Texas, our expectations may be higher than most. I don't ususally search out Mexican when we travel, so used to what I get at home that it just isn't worth it to me. My husband on the other hand, wants to try it every where we go! I haven't lived in the north for 40 years, but told... More

Had a few dishes I haven't seen before on a typical Mexican menu. They have a childrens menu, lunch is served till 3pm. Lots of parking North of the building, and also West... More

If you like Mexican food, their food is good, and the service is decent. Their chile dishes are very good. Everything else is tasty and average.

El Potrero is the best Mexican I've ever had. The food is real authentic Mexican, unlike Don Pablos or any chain Mexican. The food and service are consistently excellent. The price is really reasonable as well. They have a few locations in Flint. If you haven't been, go tonight. You will get hooked. Try the white cheese sauce for the... More
