We had an excellent dinner of pan fried sole with a grainy mustard cream sauce, new potatoes and asparagus. Every thing was beautifully prepared and our young server was very pleasant and very competent.

Warm and friendly welcome, menus to my liking (pub food) high quality, good presentation and excellently served , fair price too, will return and recommend. Live music too check out website.

There were 9 of us who visited including little ones and we were made to feel very welcome. The food was delicious- homemade, served hot with generous portions, really good value too. I would highly recommend a visit!

2nd visit to this lovely pub, 1st time was excellent and we were not disappointed on our 2nd visit. Friendly staff lovely food excellent choices, puddings are very tasty too.

4 of us had lunch here after a nice long walk in the lovely surrounding countryside. The welcome was warm and the landlord spent some time chatting to us, there was a lovely log fire and a friendly dog plus a good menu, what more...More

Yes I have seen dogs in there & their own dog is always in the pub.

yes they do allow dogs and there is also a pub dog there

Hello, we took over The Fighting Cocks six months ago and one of the first policies we introduced was to make our pub child and dog friendly so absolutely yes, you are more than welcome.
