My first impression was "What a great place to have lunch." When the waitress said it might take awhile, I should have sensed a problem since there were only about a dozen people in the diner. An hour later, and after several people who arrived...More

Diner car with a lot of history. Great food and friendly staff. Gift shop inside. Food portions are generous and tasty. Definitely a must if visiting the area. Hours this fall were 11am - 6 pm. Not sure what summer hours would be.

The food is great! Huge portions, most "splittable" - I split the corned beef hash with cheese omelette with my friend and had plenty to eat. We waited 1/2 hour to be seated, then 10 min til coffee and waited another 25 min til food...More

After a long drive on a cross country trip, seriously--we were just looking for food that wasn't from Subway. We were pleasantly surprised by this funky little place with excellent food. We ate in the back portion of the restaurant and enjoyed the decor. Great...More

I would contact them directly. They have normally been open all year, even during crazy snow storms. But as I recall (from talking with the owner this summer) she was thinking about closing for part of the winter (for... More
