Nice little find. If I remember correctly this is an old library. Very cool building. The food was very good. Nice alternative choices on the menu. We will be back!!

It's a small place, but the menu is more original than most big restaurants. Keep this place in mind during the warm months. They actually have outside seating.

I had the savory crepes and my other half had a skillet. They both were fantastic. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend it.

Service has always been great and they're apologetic if they are overwhelmed. They offer all the traditional American breakfast items and they also whip up some of their own specials. They do crepes and also have a proper espresso machine on hand and great fresh...More

We've never had a bad pizza here. In fact, just recently we had the best one ever and it was crafted by the hands of a new chef! Always have our favorite beer available too. Outdoor seating is a joy, very casual and always great...More

I visited this restaurant as part of Grand Rapids' annual Restaurant Week. Red Jet offered 2 (people) for $28 with 3 courses. First of all, the area. I hadn't visited this neighborhood before Restaurant Week this year, and that's because it's sketchy. It seems rundown...More

Description
Red Jet Cafe focuses on free trade organic specialty coffee service, fresh fruit smoothies, wood-fired pizzas, and Grand Rapids' most authentic crepe selection. Breakfast is served from open to close and features a diverse menu, including crepes, Challah Bread French Toast, Skillets, Scrambles and unique breakfast wraps. The Crepes are phenomenal, with both savory and sweet selections. Red Jet resides inside what used to be the Creston Library, and is classically beautiful with fresh new overtones like hip modern art and an engagingly modern decor. The wood-fired pizza menu is vast and includes several options for the adventurous diner. There is also a nice selection of traditional entrees and Craft Artisan Bakery goodies. The environment is safe and friendly, the service is top notch. During the summer our patio is open and provides a great summer dining experience
