I love the food here!! It has great character in a fun part of the city. But their unique flavor combinations make their food some of the best in town. It's not a super large place so sometimes there's a wait, but it's usually minimal....More

I have no idea why so many people like this restaurant.Yes it is unique and super trendy but its very small and cramped.Hopefully you don't mind your conversations being heard by others. The food is mediocre.I ordered a half grilled cheese and half goulash soup.The...More

I brought a number of my students here after we had a campus visit to Grand Valley. I normally find good pizza joints to take them to, but they were whiny - "we allllways get pizza" - so I looked for a different spot. Jesse...More

We ate here about a year ago and had an amazing breakfast with fresh, inspired ingredients, so we've been looking forward to coming back. We drove in from Grand Haven to find they weren't open. AGAIN. I'll preface this with saying that I had company...More

we waited 45 minutes thinking it was going to be a great experience but it was just okay. The macaroni and cheese really had no flavor. I think they forgot the seasoning. Our waiter maybe said 20 words to us total and seemed annoyed to...More

The menu looked interesting...I chose the corned beef sandwich with red cabbage slaw and dill havarti cheese. The corned beef was tough, sliced too thick and was fatty. It could have cooked about an hour more. Also the havarti cheese disappeared--did it melt out or...More

Found this place on multiple "best of" Grand Rapids lists. Not sure why. It's not as if the food is bad, but it isn't as if it is exceptional or even above-average either. So, from what I can tell is that this restaurant takes standard,...More

To start ...we actually love Electric Cheetah. The sandwiches, salads and mac and cheese are great. The portions are generous so we often take some of our meal home. Today I had one of the excellent mac and cheese preparations. I ate about half and...More

Came here o celebrate a birthday. We got there early because we were warned it is small and fills up quickly. We ordered the cornmeal kielbasa appetizer that really could be a meal. We also ordered the Oink feast which was 1/2 slab baby back...More

We went to this restaurant based on a recommendation by a college age niece. The menu items were unique and appealing. I had the potabella sandwich. It was tasty, but would have been better if it sat on the grill longer. It was served 2ith...More

Went tonight about 7pm and had a 50 minute wait, but we just walked to "Sparrows", the coffee and tea store down the way. We had a cocoa and read the paper while we waited. It was well worth the wait!
Do they take reservations and is it a good place to celebrate a bday??

If your birthday group is small, it would be fine. It's a little noisy and very casual. I'm not sure about reservations, but I would guess they do not accept them. Try to go at an "off" time so it's not so busy.
