Someone else posted here that if "decor doesn't matter" but authentic, good tasting Mexican food does, then I concur, you'll love this restaurant. After your hiney warms up the metal chairs your tummy will be warmed by the many; all authentic Mexican dishes. And take it from me, a third generation San Diegan who lived less than 50-miles from the... More

We have good food every time. We usually go on Mondays for lunch. We went today on a Saturday and our meal was very good as usual. They have remodeled and everything looks great!

I came here for lunch on the recommendation of a friend. He took his 13 year old there who immediately said "we are eating here?" His doubts were promptly replaced with a satisfaction that has made it a family favorite. The meal I had was too big for lunch, but a picture on google images was open on my phone... More

Your have to pay for your chips & salsa. I know it's picky & it's not much but it's the thought. The portions on our plates were very small. VERY. But the steak in the tacos was really tasty. We asked 3 times for bottled red salsa. Never came. I never finish my lunch @ other restaurants but this time... More

Good is Good every other time. It is very inconsistent. The place is very Dirty. I would like for it to be good all the time but it is definitely different quality from one visit to the next. Maggie's Kitchen is down the road and the quality seems better if you don't mind more cost.

Great tacos, Gorditas, burritos, tortilla soup and more. Never disappointed with a meal which is not the case at most joints around town.

Excellent food, good prices, very authentic! We love the tamales, the tacos, and the corn in a cup. A favorite special plate is Al hambre.

These are some of the best, and cheapest, tacos you'll find. We had two shrimp and two chicken tacos with the fixens (lime and grilled onions and peppers) for just over $10. This location is take out only.
