This deli always packed. Meat is fresh. It's connected to coffee house as well. Tried the house Reuben. It was great. It was hot as well. Definitely coming back to try the other sandwiches.

Best deli in GR area. We really really like their pastrami on rye & the corned beef on rye. Of course there are better delis but you have to go to NY or Chgo. Absolute best in MI!
It can be a bit intimtading to order if you you dont know what your doing, but the staff is super kind. The sammies are great.
If you're within 30 miles of this place get there now.. Food is amazing and the service is better. I was warmly greeted when I walked in the door.
Coming from Chicago, I didn't think I would find a great deli in Grand Rapids, but I have to say we went there twice, why? Because the corned beef is delicious, thinly sliced, no fat, it will melt in your mouth! Great Cole slaw, rye bread, oh, just go! You'll love it! Don't like corned beef then get the California... Stopped by Ada to find a place to grab some lunch on our way back from visiting the Gerald Ford Museum and looked at Tripadvisor for a recommendation. Found the Schnitz Deli...cute place above a bike shop. The place was packed, which is always a good sign. Would love to come back in the spring/summer to hang out on the... More
Greeted with a warm hello when I came in. Had a Full Corned Beef Sandwich on Jewish Rye Bread, with a side of Cole Slaw, and Soda. The corned beef was piled high, and lean. Had them put Sauerkraut and Yellow Mustard on the sandwich, as an addition. Very good. I enjoyed the Cole Slaw, as it was a vinegar... More
My husband and I meet here for lunch at least once a month. It's a busy little place but very efficient. Don't be put off by the line! It moves fast and we have always found a place to sit. The sandwiches are huge but you can order half a sandwich too. The pastrami is so flavorful, the breads so... More
Great pastrami, flavorful corn beef, home made soups and fantastic desserts make this one of West Michigan's must visit restaurants. Fast, friendly service. Well worth the wait in line.
Just thinking about this place makes my mouth water. Fresh bread and deli meats. Great sandwich combo's. If you have a small appetite just get a half. The portions are big. Fun spot.
