Cranes is a really cute and comfortable place. They also have quite a few gluten free desserts that were really good - particularly the apple crisp and the cinnamon roll.

We stopped in for lunch and pie during our visit to Holland. Good selection of sandwiches. Knowing we were eating pie, my husband and I split the ham pesto panini which was excellent, and the kids split a BLT panini with no complaints. We ate...More

A met a girlfriend here for lunch. We ordered a salad and sandwich they were both good, but not out of the ordinary. The service was friendly when we ordered at the counter. I felt like their baked goods were kind of expensive, but our...More

We arrived in town at dinner time but weren't really hungry for a big meal...so when we walked into Crane's we both opted for dessert instead. I got the apple crisp with ice cream and thought it was great. We enjoyed the coffee shop feel...More

We heard about Crane's and planned a stop in Holland just to eat here. The salad and sandwich we had before the longed-for pie were just okay, neither good nor bad. The disappointment arrived with the pie. Homemade? Yes? Better than packaged pie from the...More

Hmm, I'm very surprised to hear this! We very, very seldom get complaints, and I'm wondering what kind of pie you had. Also, as far as the salad and sandwich, again disappointed to hear you didn't enjoy as much as you had anticipated.

Good selection of pies (have never had a bad one), hard serve ice cream, baked fresh daily cider donuts (yum). Have a coupe of coffee, tea, or apple cider to cap off your dinner. Only thing I would suggest is for them to invest in...More

Thank you for this nice review. We are so glad you enjoyed our desserts. ice cream, donuts and beverages. But sorry you weren't happy with our vintage outside parlor tables and chairs. We choose them because it fits in with the decor of our building...More

I was so glad to see a Crane's in the City. I don't get to the one in Fennville often - maybe once or twice a year. Their food is just as good and the service is excellent!

This place is small, but they don't need a lot of space for what they do. I've only ever come here for dessert and donuts, but well worth the visit!

We stopped here for lunch on a Monday and waited in a short line. I ordered a wedge salad and my daughter ordered a panini, everything was great. We had a apple cider donut for desert and it was great as well. Would recommend to...More

Best sandwich ever. Chad and Mary jo only hire the best people who truly know their stuff. Get a plain cider donut and then don’t forget to buy a dozen for three of your closest friends. Downtown delectable eating. One of a kind. Enjoy.

This restaurant opened July, 2010 in the downtown area. Everything is homemade with local ingredients; desserts made with Michigan fruit. Wonderful!
