We were visiting Holland for the weekend and cranes in the city was recommended. Not too fancy but the food was outstanding and above our expectations. I had a delicious sandwich and my wife had a salad which was wonderful. To top it off we had the rhubarb raspberry pie ala mode and what a treat. A very generous sized... More

The Apple Pie from Cranes is delicious! They have other flavors too! It's better to go to downtown Holland to enjoy this pie than drive a country mile (10+miles) to the actual Crane's Farm, that is old and not impressive, to me. Plus after this Pie & Ice Cream with a very good cup of Joe (local Ferris Coffee roaster... More

Plenty of desserts with pies being their specialty. You can also grab one from the frozen case to cook later. We stopped for lunch. We enjoyed our sandwiches along with a delicious slice of pie afterward. Price was reasonable.

Crane's and our family go way back! In the past we had to travel from Holland to the Crane's Orchard in Fennville (also a wonderful place to go if you're out that way). Now the "extension" eatery is in my own back yard, minus the amazing and quirky old antiques from the Fennville restaurant (assuming those got left behind because... More

Stopped by Crane's in the City to pick up pies for Christmas and decided to also have a desert as a treat. Wow... The Cherry Crisp melts in your mouth. The service is wonderful and so very friendly.

Stopped by this gem of a place for a sandwich, which was really good. However, the surprise was how good their ice cream was!! Pies, donuts, .... you name it. Worth dropping by if you want to relax for a few minutes while shopping.

This restaurant opened July, 2010 in the downtown area. Everything is homemade with local ingredients; desserts made with Michigan fruit. Wonderful!
