This restaurant is genuine Mexican Restaurant with dishes that others don't offer, such as Gordita. La Pinata is a so-called Mexican restaurant, but it offers mostly mainstream Mexican-American dishes. La Pinata is not terrible, just not good Mexican food. Mi Pueblo is different -- it's not fancy but offers genuine tasty Mexican cuisine.

Me and my husband took our youngest son (who is headed for college) for the lunch buffet after church today--we will DEFINITELY be back!! I must admit, I had low expectations given it was a 'taco bar', but I was really impressed. So many choices of meat and toppings, all fresh and really, REALLY good!! Our waitress was really sweet... We had previously read the reviews, they made the restaurant sound quite good. Perhaps we hit it on a bad night. The salsa was runny, the chips cold. That was for starters. No alcohol is served so no sangria. The fajitas were like all other restaurant's fajitas...nothing special there. The chimichunga had the ground beef mixed in with the dough,... More

We were in town for only a few days but we eat at Mi Pueblo twice. The staff is very friendly and the service is great. The first night we were there for Taco Tuesday and they were outstanding. Very fresh with lots of flavour. The second night was a regular night with burritos, tacos and tamales. All were awesome.... More

The food is authentic, inexpensive, consistently good and usually quickly served. The guacamole is the best ever! Great place to practice your Spanish. Try the frozen paddle pops!

Come here for real (good) Mexican food at fair prices that fill your plate in an attractive manner. While waiting for your meal, enjoy the corn chips and salsa, view the widescreen television (with the volume turned low so as not to disturb anyone), and take in the colorful, unique atmosphere that includes many large paintings of Mexican themes. Besides... More

My family and I have been going to this restaurant for years since it opened . In my opinion its the best Mexican food I've ever had . In the beginning the service was not very good , drinks weren't refilled chips not refilled .However it has gotten better . For years the food was so good that we just... More

The food is excellent, authentic, and very reasonably priced. The service can be slow at busy times, but the food is worth it. The environment seems "authentic Mexican"--nothin' fancy!

The first time I went to Mi Pueblo was when it first opened, after it was Acapulco. The first few times the service was slow but the food was soooo worth it. Now, I go a few times a month and the service is great. The food is very good and of good value. Their burritos are huge and MUCH... More
