My friends and I have visited often lately and we love hanging out at the bar, especially if Kevin is bartending! He always makes me the best hot chocolate! The staff is friendly and has a great atmosphere. Any time I have eaten there I'm not so impressed with the food, especially for the price. Come here for drinks after... More

This was a first visit for two people. We sampled the Food Dance Burger with blue cheese added, also ordered cut fries and grilled cauliflower. The food was good with pleasant presentation, but not fantastic. Also ordered, was the Square Dance Salad, a fancy name for greens, pine nuts, dried cherries and caramelized onions with balsamic vinaigrette. The food was... More

I've been to Food Dance for dinner for business and personal meals and it is one of the best places to eat in Kalamazoo. Service is always very good and I like how the interior is bright and well-lit. The proteins on the menu typically stay the same, but the preparation changes from time to time, and their fish specials... More

We had an enjoyable lunch for 4 adults and 4 children on a Saturday around 12:30pm. Parking was readily available and seating immediate. The menu offered a nice variety and everyone enjoyed their selections. My only complaint was the kids "hokey pokey" meal was a bit unbalanced. Lots of bread, little meat and cheese. Service was prompt and overall we... More

I love this place, the atmosphere is enjoyable, the menu is fantastic with so many different choices, not ordinary dishes you see at other restaurants, and the food is very delicious. Love the deli too, many choices to take home and enjoy later

We were seated at the front of the restaurant where our table was close enough to other couples that we felt like it was group date night. The service was friendly and efficient. A side salad was warm and limp, served with a dressing that was too thick to pour. Pad Thai and a burger were presented attractively and tasted... More

On the third bite of my salty hamburger, grease squirted out on outside of my mouth. I left restaurant with a secondary burn blister on my lip. The home fries were not fully cooked. Told manager about being burned. He said he would talk to the cook. I have never been burned on the outside of my mouth from eating... More

Food Dance is my favorite breakfast spot downtown Kalamazoo. Great selections made of fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. Recommend any of the egg dishes and a fresh scone/muffin. Service staff is welcoming and professional.

I come here often and when I have friends from out of town I always recommend food dance to them. It is always yummy and fresh. Farm to table. Gotta love it. My faveorite is the square dance salad it is a must have especially when you get their homemade buttermilk dressing. It has goat cheese and carmakized onions.

Which is why I like it at Food Dance Cafe! Always great service and friendly servers! I have also been there for a bridal shower and a private birthday celebration! Had great buffets set up in both cases!
