Really enjoy Aladdins near Frandor. It is a really good place to bring family- my kids love hummus, kabobs and the fruit smoothies and my wife and I really like the mujadara, hashwi, stuffed grape leaves, etc. Good service as well. Feels like a home atmosphere and folks are friendly.
My family dined here Saturday for lunch and we were happy with the meal. (Much better than Sultans in Okemos). So, when we want Mediterranean cuisine we will return to New Aladdin's Restaurant. And, it was very nice when one of the owners approached our table and gave my Son a candy bar on the house! Additionally, the server allowed... More
Look, I know there are some Middle Eastern food snobs out there who will hold their noses at a place like this. I lived in Lansing 15-20 years ago and used to come here all the time. Have eaten ME food in Detroit, Cleveland, etc. Back in Michigan now, and I'd drive to Lansing just for this place! Their tabbouleh... More
We are from Detroit area, there are any number of wonderful Med restaurants available, this one wouldn't last a week. Food was marginal, I had a fatoush salad with chicken shwarma, my wife a shwarma sandwich. There's tons of middle eastern food to be had in this area. I wouldn't choose Aladdin's and I don't like the location. In the middle of a run-down old mall. It's a nice family run establishment, however, so if you want to patronize family businesses rather than chains...go to Aladdin.
I cant say more than other reviewers, food quality was perfect, taste is amazing, dish is full, service from the owner and was great, only issue that the potatoes in red sause received cold average price for a plate is 8-13 $
This little family-run place has very good food. Go at dinner for a free dance performance! The meats are perfectly cooked, and the servings are enormous.
