The food is great. Specializing primarily in breakfast with a twist. Small with lots of atmosphere, you have to be willing to wait for a table and put up with a bit of ambience (read background noise). The definition of local color.

My freind said I couldn't eat a whole mother trucker by myself. He was wrong. I've lived in Georgia and both Carolinas, best biscuits and gravy ever. Funky joint. A lansing must.

Don't be put off by the line outside the door. It's definitely worth the wait! It is only open until 2:00 pm each day serving breakfast and brunch type foods. Everything is made fresh each morning. I have never had a bad meal here.. I don't even like pancakes, but I love theirs! It has an eclectic following. Artisans, students,... More

First off let me say thank you the people who own and operate this dank establishment. You are master's of your craft. Not only is this restaurant one of the coolest buildings to just sit in, they also have the dankest breakfast menu in town. I literally could spend hours in there just staring at all the dope stuff hanging... More

The food is indeed something to write home about. The pecan waffles are to die for!!! :) HOWEVER, and this is a BIG caveat, the loud music is just terrible and completely distracts from what could be an excellent overall experience. It is difficult, at best, to have any kind of conversation with your dining partners and the volumn of... More

We went for a late breakfast and, while we were seated immediately, there was a short wait for those coming after us. This place has conspicuous pluses and minuses. First, the pluses: The menu is inventive and the dishes we ordered were well-prepared. The place has a congenial vibe and the servers are attentive. On the flip side: The noise... More

Really good food if you don't mind the wait and very loud music, you have to wait in line and then wait for your food.

Went at noon on a weekday and only waited 20 minutes. Shared a table with two people we didn't know-so be prepared to do that on occasion as they keep the seats filled. The specials are always good-had the dirty Southern omelet with carmelized onions, sweet potato, kale, pecans and white cheddar. My dining companion had the breakfast burrito with... More

And wait, you will. But it's SO worth it!! This little breakfast joint fills fast and stays filled. Once inside you are transported back in time, surrounded by an eclectic collection of toys, signs and memorabilia. If this doesn't hold your attention the blaring music and awesomely colorful staff will. The daily specials will spin your mind and dazzle your... More

Plan to arrive 30 before they open to get in line. It's not unusual to arrive before opening to find a long line of people, many of whom will be eating at the "second seating". The interior of the restaurant has an eclectic and haphazard feel. The servers and other staff are all interesting and colorful people. I think they... More
