My wife and I visited this store last summer to purchase some fried fish and maybe shrimp. I considered their prices a bit high, and the fish I chose to have fried was mediocre at best. We are from Chicago, and frequented our local fish store quite often, and were unimpressed with Bortelli's products. I guess we expected to have... More

This is a gem of a fishery! Lake trout was fab but the Norwegian Smoked Salmon was phenomenal! Friendly owner and staff. We chatted as they cooked my fish. 120 year old establishment that I hope will continue for many years more.

This is a strictly seasonal take-out place and all they serve is fish/shellfish and a few "sides"; french fries, cole slaw, chips & soda. You have to take your food home or eat outside at picnic tables, or across the street at a county park. But it is GREAT! The fish is mostly Great Lakes in origin: perch, whitefish, walleye... More

Lovely country road leads you to a very special place. People are very friendly and you could not get fish any fresher. Prepared for you as you wait in just moments. Looking forward to a meal here during the summer season. You will not be disappointed.

Not a lot of fisheries around so they can charge quite a bit for their product. It is delicious! Cool picnic area to eat at.

Good and fresh fish, fantastic cole slaw, fries are good (but nothing to write home about). I love the feel and atmosphere of this place. It's a must stop destination if you are in the area!

This is a wonderful small business in a beautiful area. The fish is really good and I would love to continue supporting it........but I do feel that the price is a bit out of line. I am all for people being paid fairly for hard work and a profit. I hope next year is a bit better deal.

Worth the drive south of town for their variety of fresh fish. Carry out only but they have a large picnic area with tables. It's a must see.

This place is a little pricey but I feel it's worth it. We sat outside on the picnic tables and the area was fairly clean for being outside.

When you happen to stumble upon this place...you may think it's nothing special, but it is! Great outdoor seating with a park a short distance down the street where you can enjoy your food looking at Lake Michigan. Amazing customer service and equally amazing food!! The prices are also very fair! The only setback I can think of would be... More
