Been coming to the Ludington and Manistee area for 20 plus years. Decided to try a new restaurant. I had the fish and chips delicious. Light crunchy non-greasy coding and flavored perfectly instead of the fries I chose to have the all gratin potatoes creamy and yummy. My husband chose the Cherry bourbon Burger it had a little kick to... More

We started out with a brew sampler. I had three fruit flavored beers that were surprisingly delicious. Blueberry, strawberry and orange along with a light hop beer. My spouse had four different choices and we shared back and forth. That was fun, but now with the food featuring excellent choices from seafood to steaks, pastas, and things like lobster mac... This brewpub is doing everything well. They are producing great beer, have great food and even have good wine for non-beer lovers. So many brewpubs are ignoring the wine drinkers, when its so easy to have a few good wine labels on hand. I wish we lived closer to Jamesport!

What appears to be the hippest place in town is a good spot for a brew and sandwich or great entree salad. Nice stop before heading back to the campsite for a gorgeous sunset.

We were in Ludington for some emergency bicycle repairs and wandered down James Street. We decided to try out Jamesport Brewing during the 4-6 happy hour. Neither of us went for the extensive and interesting beer menu, just sticking to the perch sandwich "lunch" special, which extends until 5 PM. Quite good, very lightly breaded (a plus for us), and... We went to Jamesport on the recommendation of a friend. The atmosphere was great. The beer selection was great, but neither of us was thrilled with our meal. He got a bourbon burger but said he couldn't really taste any flavor except burger. My black bean burger tasted a bit old. Maybe it was the bun. Not that impressive.

My colleague and I arrived in Luddington for a three day business trip, looked up good places to eat, and checked out JBC - and what an incredible experience it was. The beer craft brew selection was great, with several (5) dark, on-site brews to choose from - amazing, amazing beer. The food was fresh, reasonably priced, tasty and delivered... More

Jamesport is a great place to catch a home brew and some good food. Love the spicy chicken wrap and salads.

Followed up an afternoon of beach hiking in cold, brisk weather by dining at the Jamesport Brewing Company. Started by sharing the spinach salad topped with bacon, egg, candied walnuts, goat cheese and a warm bacon dressing. Kept our meal light by splitting an irish cottage pie. That's hamburger and veggies baked in a demi-glace of mashed potatoes. Top that... More
