This place is a honey hole in this small town. Cozy and quaint inside. Our waitress was a little sweetheart and did a very good job. The owner Frank is a super nice guy. He came out to our table and chatted. The food is...very very good! They grow their own herbs onsite. We will eat here again for sure. ENJOY!!More

Best pizza in Michigan

Have to update my two year old review. Still the best pizza in Washtenaw county. Excellent homemade breads on the sandwiches, wraps, and grinders. Great food! What is there not to love about this place? We probably average about once a week eating Frank’s and...it’s only gotten better since their remodel. I’ve seen some comments on the service being slow. Is it slow? No, the service is not slow but they only have limited space in the pizza oven so sometimes it takes a while to get your food. That’s a price I’m willing to pay for the best pizza around. Some of the other things also go in the same oven so you have to wait sometimes. Have a drink, relax, get an awesome appetizer, it’s freshly made heaven on a plate. The wait is worth it!More

Advise

I was there for dinner with my husband we both had Italian dishes the food tasted fine they give you a choice if garlic bread or italian bread the bread was very fresh but they need to serve it warm my advice put a few...slices in a basket like you get at Steak's Eatery and I am very DISAPPOINTED you have to pay extra for the salad really again I can go to Steak's and you get the salad with the meal listen if you are saying then go to Steak's well that's the wrong answer the reason you wait in line for a hour is because every time you get Great service and Great food always you usually have to take home the leftovers...Also if you are serving the Lasagna and other dishes the plate should be hot the food cools down way to fast. The place is beautiful and the server was fantastic so for what it's worth tweek a few things and you will have a Rock Star Restaurant!!!!More

Delish

Terrific pizza with plenty of aged cheese. Their classic Italian grinder comes on homemade English muffin bread and it’s to die for. Plenty of full meals. Friendly staff and clean

Worst Customer Service

Food not the issue, called an order in and my daughter ended up getting hurt so we called back to let them know we were unable to pickup our order (didn't want to drive in the snow with an injured toddler) apologized in the panic...of the moment. The woman yelled at me on the phone and was appauled that I had to cancel, swore at me and hung up. Not sure what made us deserve that with everything going on. THEN they call us back to tell us we will be banned from their restaraunt if we do not pay the $20 for a large pizza and breadsticks. Seriously??? After 10+ years of being a loyal customer I will never return!More

ALWAYS THE BEST

I always stop and pick up a pizza when I get into town and when I leave town. One of the many things I miss about home is franks pizza. By far there is not anyone better.

Its all about the crust

I was really pleased to go to this unassuming small-town pizza place and have a great pizza. We ate in and the wait staff was courteous and attentive with out being a nuisance. The dining room was simple, but comfortable, with plain chairs and tables....We ordered a thin crust cheese pizza with mushrooms, basil and tomato. It was really nicely balanced with seasoning and gave the total pizza experience even as a vegetarian choice. The sauce didn't over power and was just right. The thin crust was light with just the right amount of crisp. This ended up being a very light meal. If you are watching what you eat, it was perfect. For a heartier appetite I would recommend a large instead of the medium for 2 that we ordered.More

Best pizza in Michigan, or any where else!

Ok, I consider myself a pizza snob, I worked in many "pizza" establishment though out my college years, and have traveled over 20 years in my current position, and I have to say, Frank's has the best pie ever! There ingredients are fresh, and plentiful!...They even asked if I wanted fresh mushrooms or canned!! That was a first! They don't price their pie's with Dominos or Little Caesar's, but well worth the price! I will be back!More

Addicted to the PIZZA!!!!!

I've been coming here for 20 years or more and cannot get over this pizza!!! I'm from New York and this is the closest I found to New York Pizza in the area and it is delicious!!!! I had pizza from California Chicago and Italy...and this pizza rates right up there with the best. It has a thin crust butt not too thin.. the sauce is perfect with just the right amount of cheese. I also love the Greek salad or the garden salad is fine too!!! This is my Friday go to place for dinner. You're going to love it too!!More
