Confused at first but once I figured out the system it was ok. Service was top notch and the food was awesome! Had a spinach portabella Swiss omelette that was awesome and wife had steel cut out and a parfait (yogurt / fruit / granola) that she loved. Fruit at peak of freshness.

This restaurant blew my socks off. After a month of travelling we soaked in the fresh, tasty, REAL FOOD ingredients. Who can get organic eggs at amazing prices?? Here you can!!! The kids ranted and raved! You feel amazing when you walk away. No bloated and gross from junk ingredients! And the coffee...finally awesome coffee Love love. Love love

Service was excellent & had a view of downtown one time & a glimpse of the lake another time. Especially love breakfast & also treated my Mother-in-Law to lunch at times (it's one of her favorite places!) And one cannot forget the yummy candies before you walk out the door...or a gift or two. :)

Candy store and soda fountain on the bottom level but go upstairs and have lunch or breakfast. You can eat in a bedroom or parlor over looking the downtown. Great sandwiches and soups. Loved the tomato bisque. The chocolate soda was great also

This was our fist time at Donckers and the food was excellent. It was a bit difficult getting to the restaurant from the ground floor but once you got there it was delicious. The prices were extremely high I thought for breakfast but the portions were good.

We went around 4pm and I got a west coast Ruben. The service was excellent and the staff is extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend going here. They also have a chocolate/ice cream on the second floor with food on the top floor.

Donckers Restaurant is a bustling place filled with happy faces. Although the tables may be filled, service is generally swift. While we have sampled the flavorful sandwiches and burgers, our favorite item on the menu is the Mac & Cheese! Donckers first floor is the place to go for a towering ice cream sundae fix. And we never leave without... More

A throwback to a 1960's eatery. Friendly, clean, the best Reuben sandwich outside of New York City, and the best Mac & Cheese I have had in a long time. This will be a repeat for me.

I love coming here ever since I found out about it my sophomore year of college. Ever since I've gone there I get the same thing...the Augustus with veggie chips and a pulled Vanilla Coke. The soda is made with phosphates downstairs and tastes like an old-fashioned soda the sandwich is full of flavor. Once your done eating, make your... More

Description
Donckers was established in 1896 by Fred Donckers, a one-armed family man that prided himself on great customer service and top-notch ingredients used to make his locally-famous chocolate fudge.

Over 120 years later, Donckers is continuing the tradition of great, quality food and service to locals and tourists alike. Take a trip to Donckers for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and stay for dessert at the old fashioned soda fountain, or try some house-made chocolates and caramels from the store. Some items of note are the Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels, Fred's Tin Roof Sundae, fresh local burgers, and award winning Donckers mac and cheese.
