This great little gem doesn't need fancy sombreros or music. The food is exceptional. It is fresh, seasoned just right and moderately priced. If you are looking for great Mexican food, stop by.

Look it's a GREAT Mom and Pop Mexican restaurant, NOT a Chain, No Beer but the food is AWESOME, the waitress's were great and friendly, since I was not sure what to eat, she made a few recommendations based on our conversation. I took her first recommendation and thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

This is easy to get to just off I-75 . . . . it offers eat in or take out. The food was good and the prices reasonable. If you are looking for a Mexican meal and don't want fast food, then this will fit the bill.

If you're passing through SE Michigan on I-75 you might stop here rather than in Detroit's Mexicantown, which has good restaurants but would be risky for a loaded car. Small, family-run place; cheap. Order off the dry-erase boards in front—these often have authentic Mexican home-cooked dishes such as barbacoa—rather than the menu. Decent guacamole; fine salsas (hot is not super... More

We took a chance on this little place and we'll be back every time we're coming thru. We're professional drivers so finding great little stops can be the highlight of our days. We got a bunch of tacos and they were delicious. Home made salsa was perfect. Really really genuinely nice people.

We stopped for lunch. I had the fajitas and my husband had the chimichanga. The portions were large and the food was edible. We were disappointed with the quality. The service was quick and friendly.

Service was good. Many options to choose from. Prices are reasonable. Salsa had great flavor. I had the chimichanga and it was prepared well.

Have tried several items on the menu and everything was delicious. Their homemade chips are the best I've tasted.

My husband and I live in Monroe and this is definitely the best Mexican food you can get in town. Their prices are still very reasonable and we go here every chance we get. The wait staff is very helpful and friendly. We will keep going here as long as they are open! They also offer carry-out, which we have... More
