For the first time of my life, i thought about returning the plate at the moment I saw it. I ordered the chicken burritos, and when it arrived, I was really dissatisfied to see that the 2 burritos were having a bath in condensed tomato soup can.... ok, it's ok, I can remove it. But then after one bit realising... More

We had lunch at Via Via because it was a part of Julio Tours and guess what? We met Julio. There were three choices and my husband had the beef plate an said it was very good. I did not eat because of a very restricted diet (health), but everyone else enjoyed their meal.

If you expect grilled meat, guess again. Mine was either boiled or microwaved; an anemic colored, tough, salted piece of rubber. The rest of the plate included delicious thin-fried plantains, great gallopinto and cabbage and a tangy cucumber vinegar salsa. High prices in the restaurant. The bar mixes a good cocktail.

We were on a guided tour and this lunch was included. I'm glad it was because I wouldn't have known where else to go. I had the beef plate which was good. It came with a couple sides which I liked.

I've been here a few times and they host some really cool events from live rock music to a salsa night. I prefer going on slower nights because it can get quite crowded on the weekends. My experience with the staff was amazing. They seem to have a lot of fun and it pours over. The food we ordered was... More

Nice place, had quite a lot to drink there. Turns out that "buy 1 get 1 free" during happy hour means "drink as many beers as you can before we tell you that, despite being 2 for 1, the price of 1 goes up during happy hour because "we can't afford to sell beer that cheaply". I know worse things... More

To begin with I'm not one for making bad reviews but something needs to be said about this place. We were at via via for a rum tasting event in a group of about 10. Having such a large group present I took my watch off (as my wrist was swollen from the heat) and (albeit stupidly) left it on... More

I don't like giving less than outstanding reviews. We went as it was on another list as interesting. It is quite relaxing in the garden area, tranquil away from the city. The clientele is a mix of locals, expats, and young adventurers. The steak was the toughest I have ever had, almost inedible. The shrimp in the seafood spaghetti were... More
