A truly unique, authentic dining experience in a beautiful setting. The view over the valley was magical at sunset. Upon arrival the Maitre d' took us through to a back room where they have a range of home made liqueurs which they encourage you to sample. The waiter was fantastic, so friendly and helpful with the menu, even suggesting we... More

Overall not a good experience at all. Bad service, the waiter was sat smoking and drinking with friends in the corner whilst we were trying to get his attention during the meal. Very overpriced food and wine. Food tasted OK but definitely not worth the very expensive price tag. To cap it all off the waiter did not bring back... More

My girlfriend and I visited Konoba Golub this evening. Service was excellent. Food was incredible; way more than the two of us could eat and nice table wine. Highly recommended.

I've never had octopus that tastes like bacon. That should be enough to compel you to seek this place out. It's a little hard to find but worth the effort. Be warned, you need to call ahead and order peca because it takes 3 hours to prepare.

Food was average. Tried the fish cooked under the "pecara", which is served with some vegetables. Fish was well cooked, but nothing extraordinary. Sweets were excellent. The local focaccia (specialty of vis) not the best on the island, rather fluffy. There is a nice thin air on their terrace in the summer, which makes worth the visit. Staff overall kind... More

My bf and I tried this restaurant on the recommendation of a Croatian friend. We were not disappointed! My bf said it was even the best meal in Europe he has ever had :) We had the Golub platter to start which was very tasty. However, the real star was the Lamb 'peka'. Words can not describe how delcious this... More

Yesterday 4 of us had a dinner at this place and only thing I can say at the end is Rip off. This is a nice restaurant with the nice view and food is pretty good but again it's a rip off. We had starters, sea shells for all of us which was just fine, but nothing more, and for... More

Great food very nice location in the countryside with a nice view on the hills. Nice atmosphere and good service. Price is fair. Only small challenge a few cats wandering around tables begging for food, which was quite annoying. Overall though a good experience and strongly suggested
