This restaurant is not in Naubinway but in Epoufette, about 17 miles east. The chowder was not as tasty as I expected with the high reviews, it had too many potatoes and not enough fish. The whitefish both fried and grilled were very good as well as the pate. The waitress was helpful and friendly even though we were the... More

My son and I stopped for lunch at the Cut River Inn. We ordered the whitefish chowder, a pastie, and smoked whitefish pate. Everything was delicious and portions were generous. The pastie was one of the best I've ever tasted. The chowder was flavorful and satisfying. There were sizable chunks of smoked whitefish in the pate. Wonderful food, friendly service,... More

My family had dinner here late Aug. 2016. We loved the Whitefish Chowder and Dinner. I had pastie and like it. It was a good place for families. The service was good. It felt like a locals place to go. It did seem a tad pricey.

Service and the restaurant itself were fine. Had an order of whitewash (their signature dish) which was only fair. This restaurant may appeal to the locals (it also has full bar service), but I was not impressed with our choices of food.

We were touring the UP and looking for a pastie place. We stumbled across this place and were no disappointed. Good white fish also and cheap. Well worth the stop.

We went to the Cut River Inn for lunch. The restaurant was bright and clean. The waitress was friendly and efficient. Three of us ordered pasties and one a hamburger. The food arrived in a timely manner. The pasties were good, the meat and veggies were diced/chopped up. Have had pasties other places that had hardier meat and veggies inside,... More

All nine of us stopped at this little family diner. We had four adults and 5 kids. The whitefish was good. I got the Yooper Combo, pasty, whitefish chowder and whitefish pate. It was all good.

Waitress did the best job she could, but kitchen was incredibly slow. Took over 45 minutes to get the lunch meals. "Signature salad" consisted of iceberg lettuce, a few pieces of cabbage, dried cherries, crumbled blue cheese (which I requested to omit but got anyway). No other salad fixins. The size of a side salad but the price of a... More
