Of course, my kids loved it. The two of them got single scoop sugar cones. I got the moose tracks, which was okay--typical of a good carton from the grocery store, I'd say. My wife's ice cream was supposedly their best seller: the Mackinac island fudge or something like that. It had some of those crystals on it that you... More

Oink's has frozen yogurt, but we went straight for the sweeter frozen desert. We each selected from the dozens of ice cream flavors and a freshly baked and chocolate covered waffle cone. Annette had the yellow cake batter, and I had the turtle cheesecake. A huge single scoop that satisfied our ice cream cravings. The place was busy but not... More

We remembered how cute Oinks is / loads of memorabilia and charm. We were Not prepared to pay $6.20 each for 2 tiny scoops of ice cream in a small plastic cup. Yikes! I should have know it would break the bank when we walked inside and spotted an ATM in the corner. The place is charming & the ice... More

This is a great place to stop for ice cream on a hot day along lake Michigan. Be prepared for a fairly long wait on a hot day. Great ice cream!

I've been coming here every summer since I was born with my family, so childhood nostalgia has played a big part in my love for this place. That said, on my most recent visit, I found myself experiencing Oinks with a new perspective. Yes, the charm of the floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall pig knick-knacks and decorations are very endearing and give the... More

I love New Buffalo, and there is no better place to get ice cream in New Buffalo, than Oinks. First thing to do is grab a # and wait in line. The line goes fast and there are plenty of flavors to choose from. I always get a waffle cone. The interior is lined w/ pig decor and ice cream... More

One word to describe Oink's Ice Cream Parlor.....DELICIOUS!! Local neighborhood Ice Cream parlor that has "stood the time" when it comes to success. They have been around for years, and when in New Buffalo, it's a must stop for "Ice Cream Lovers" everywhere! Multiple flavors, reasonably priced, and walking distance to any of the stores off Whittaker St. Five Star... More

Oink's is the cutest place! There is a great little gift shop and the ice cream parlor is filled with "pig" memorabilia. The ice cream is really delicious and there is a flavor for everyone! Oink's even has low sugar or no sugar choices.

they put together some great items all with ice cream and toppings and sauces and creams. It is a very interesting little place with collection of antique ice cream items. best in town for sure a bit pricey so you wont go every day but a real treat good enough to wait on.

The Congress are WAY over priced but what do ya do when you're craving ice cream and it's the only thing open? It was very delicious and the endless displays on the walls and counters are amazing.
