This place has it all! Local fresh ingredients, the owner is the chef and can tell you exactly what she puts in her dishes which makes it great for those that have concerns or allergies food wise.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and was not disappointed. Ham sandwich with cajun sauce was delish came with a side of pasa salad and chips. My friend ordered the mac and cheese and also was not disappointed. Service was great, and will return again. Only con is they are only open from 11 - 3.

A pleasant lunch restaurant in downtown Niles. The menu offered many options and there is a vegetarian menu as well. My chicken salad sandwich was very good, but I did not care for their tomato basil soup. Also, cold air rushes in anytime the door is opened, so sit toward the back on a cold day!

We stop in at this restaurant far to infrequently but each time we do we always leave saying we should be back more often. Easy to say this establishment is a bit different than all of the other local restaurants but the food more than sets it apart. With interesting twists the hamburgers are some of the best I have... This place is different, it's food asian inspired (the chef is asian) in some ways but you can get a great bowl of soup, a cheesy french inspired sandwich, a bowl of greens. It is all fresh and local. No alcohol

Whenever I can I eat at local businesses (as opposed to a chain) and having local sources is a bonus. The food was great and the environment nice. The only complaint, and not even that, would be that our server lacked a little confidence but she tried very hard.

We stopped for a late lunch while traveling. The usual chef was out so the assistant took longer than we expected to prepare our food. However it was all good. The restaurant has an unusual selection of dishes, primarily from locally sourced ingredients. It looks like they have interesting theme dinners once a month.

Once a month Chef Dayna prepares a special menu for that evening only. The cost is $20 per month and you can bring your wine or beer since they don't have a license. It is a three or 4 course meal with a different theme each month. Check the Bistro Facebook page for more details.Reservations are required for this once... More

I couldn't take longer to think of an appropriate summary name. I was so looking forward to what was reviewed as a good food place. That excitement turned from "well, they are understaffed" to "meh" to "wothehell" to finally something bordering on anger. There was only one server. However, she was lacking in even anything approaching the qualities necessary to... More
