Fischer Happy Hour is an old pub and restaurant on M22 between Leland and Northport, opposite Gill's Pier Road. For a taste of traditional Leelanau County, it's hard to beat. Some aspects are weird and eclectic, like the pool table in the middle of the restaurant with a pot of Easter lilies in the middle, or the arcade games in... More

Small venue during busy times put you're name on the chalk board outside the main entrance. This is the local jewel of the area. From wait staff to the owner class act.

$11.87 for burger and cup of chili. Burger great, similar to five guys but with better beef. Great taste. Chili was OK but nothing special. Would visit again but would try the broasted chicken instead...other tables had this and it looked great. Ambiance fantastic, very small seating area, bar close. Packed on a Monday night 6:00 in middle of February.... More

One of the top 5 burgers I have ever had. Outstanding family atmosphere. Friendly, efficient staff. Ms. Pacman while you wait for your table. What else could a person ask for?

We arrived at noon and found a comfortable table in a corner. This place has some great ambiance. We both ordered the fried fish sandwich and I also had a bowl of chili, which was excellent. The fish sandwiches were AWESOME, but my wife couldn't eat hers because she discovered the skin and got all freaked out. This was one... More

You have to love these little out-of-the-way stops off the beaten path that surprise you with their service, food and warmth. Just good, straight forward American fare at a reasonable price and served with a friendly smile. On this lunch stop we enjoyed a hot ham sandwich, fries, egg salad sandwich and Coke. Nothing unexpected, but very fulfilling. And all... More

Saw this place as we were driving by and stopped in. You have to write your name on a board before being seated with the amount in your party. We had a small table to seat 4, but we came in for appetizers and beer. They had great chili-chili almost texture of chili for chili dogs. Very tasty. Hubby had... More

This place is nothing great on the outside and inside looks like a typical bar, but the food is awesome! Served fresh and hot! Delicious broasted whitefish and chicken. Highly recommend!
