It has been a few months since I visited this excellent & reasonably priced Sushi restaurant . However over the past 5 years, my family & friends have literally always enjoyed our meals & service here. There is often a wait on popular nights but the food is worth it .

I've been to Japan and this place is on par with anything that I've experienced over there. While it's impossible to get sushi as fresh as in Japan, the sushi I had at Ajishin was still excellent and the best that I've had state side. I often pair sushi with the Ajishin udon bowl, which is excellent as well. Best... More

Lived in Metro Tokyo area 3+ years and Ajishin has some pretty legit food. Their Tempura Udon is on point! Sushi is solid and service is great! Hidden local gem!

This is my second review just to say that even if my last visit was one year ago, Ajishin keeps a steadfast quality in its kitchen. I went for the Ajishin soup, a sweet delicacy everybody should try, and finished with the california and shrimp tempura sushi. Flavorful, packed with freshness and generous portions. I have become an addict of... More

Very authentic Japanese food and relatively inexpensive. I went later in the evening around 8:30pm, so there was no wait, but the restaurant is really small so plan to wait if you're going during peak dinner hours. Thoroughly enjoyed the food there!

This place is allways known as the best Japanese restaurant in Novi, MI. but I would say it might be the best one in america... Really small place and so many customers are there so you may need to line up sometimes... 30 minutes or so... but their sushi and udon are very best.. tasty and cheap!!! Look at the... More

Sushi was great and very authentic. You can tell when a Japanese restaurant is good when you see it full if Japanese patrons. The only weird thing is that they didn't serve beer which in my opinion complements the sushi. However, it was worth going.

This was the best sushi lunch I have ever had. My noodle soup, and nigiri, the sushi rolls were so good that I wanted to return the next day.

Small place. Not much ambiance. It's always very busy. The food is consistent and always good. I love the soup noodle bowls.

This is my new favourite Japanese restaurant in Michigan. My girlfriend and I are big sushi lovers and Ajishin has excellent and authentic sushi. The udon soup is one of the highlights of the restaurant--It's filling and delicious. The customers are 80% Japanese, which I take as a great sign of authenticity. The prices are also reasonable, which is a... More
