The decor could be improved and etiquette on serving could be improved. These were mentioned to keep it classy and old school, ie, pouring of wine which is still continued elsewhere. I feel that the Chop House down the block has these subjects in check....More

A fantastic place to drop in. Great menu and my favorite salmon for lunch. The starter bread is to die for! The servers are fantastic. The space is classic but not great for larger groups.

I can see why this restaurant has the #1 ranking. The complimentary warm garlicky bread loaded with poppy seeds was wonderful. My Great Lakes white fish and the squash and zucchini with diced tomatoes were seasoned to perfection. I don’t normally like those vegetables but...More

The waitress was extremely attentive even when she had two large tables of over 12 each. We were a table for two and she never made us go without, bread, drinks, water etc. She was PERFECT. Also we wanted to share two dinners, so she...More

If you think you don't like calamari, you're wrong. Try it here. Outstanding. The smell of their fresh baked bread permeates through downtown on a winter's day. Delicious.

On a cold, snowy Saturday, Kruse & Muer was a high point to our out-of-town shopping trip. The ambiance was classic warmth, but the service and food were memorable.I had the tuna empanadas and a sauvignon blanc. The tuna was flash-seared, and combined with the...More

I have been there at 4:30 and been given the dinner menu. You could call ahead and check. The staff is pretty accommodating.

It might be difficult on a weekend. If you can't find a spot in front, the rear entrance requires walking through a narrow hallway that is not only used by customers but also, the wait staff.
