Lunch before a play. Had the reuben sandwich and it was great. Nice place, friendly staff. Would recommend.

The food is always unique and tasty. Service is good. The place is a bit loud but that is part of the atmosphere. There is always something unusual on the menu.
I eat here whenever in Royal Oak. The menu has a huge variety of sandwiches, salads, chicken pot pie, etc. many vegetarian options too. The veggie Reuben comes two ways (sauerkraut or coleslaw). Both are delicious. Carnivores won't go hungry either. Sandwiches are huge. Onion rings are among the best around. Never an issue with food quality. The service can... More
I come here often for lunch and it's typically a love-hate relationship. When they do it right they do it really well. The food can be awesome. If the servers are on their game and the kitchen is working well it's a great place that has an outstanding sandwich selection. They used to struggle with timing on lunches and we... More
Second time here, once for lunch and once for dinner. Mediocre food and so/so service. Pot pie did not have much chicken, the veggies were overcooked and other food not very hot. Good turkey meatloaf and chocolate cake (not to sweet). Plenty of other places in Royal Oak.
Good consistent local eatery. The huevos rancheros dish is amazing! Lots of delicious and different menu options. Some of the flavor a they out together are quite inspired. Save room for trail mix cookie to take home.
Friends were in town for the Woodward Cruise. They asked if we could get together and was there a good midway point. I suggested Pronto and everyone was happy. The chicken pot pie was served in a HUGE pot and was loaded with chicken and potatoes and veggies. The plate was then surrounded by broccoli that was amazing! Another in... More
Our server was really friendly and nice. He knew the menu very well, too, so he was able to answer all of our questions and make recommendations. The only problem was trying to make a choice on what to eat-everything sounded good!
Service speed used to be quite an issue at lunch but this has improved significantly. Food has always been good. Prices are probably on the high side of average.
New ownership has meant slight changes to Pronto. We used to go to Pronto for weekend breakfast. We were disappointed this last time. Menu seemed the same, but when food came it was not. Bread used to taste homemade, now seemed processed out of a bag. Portions were smaller, quality was down. Now it's just ok, nothing special. Used to... More
