We always enjoy lunch or dinner at ROB. Relaxing and comfortable setting, friendly and prompt service with very good pub food. One of our favorites.

Everything I've ever eaten here has been really really good. Somethings I think are pricey, especially for lunch. For example, I don't think a grilled cheese and cup of soup is worth $17, although I do admit the meal is one of my favorites.
The Royal Oak Brewery is an OK spot for drinks and food in downtown Royal Oak. I stopped in with some friends celebrating a bachelor party, and we were taken care of very well by the staff. The beers weren't too bad, our only complaints were the portion sizes. We ordered a few appetizers to go with the drinks, but... More
I have eaten at this restaurant several times in the past, but on my last visit I was looking for carryout. I ordered a pint of the craft wheat beer and settled in for a wait. Just as i finished the beer, the Shepherds Pie and Brewers bread arrived. Too bad, the beer was really good. By the way the... More
My husband and I are members of a mug club here and are usually underwhelmed with that beer selection. If you like very hoppy beer this would be the place for you. In my opinion most of the beer tastes the same and is served on the warmer side. They did just update their menu and have some nice new... More
Went here on a family visit to Royal Oak. Called ahead. Saturday night. How long was the wait for one person? No wait, I was told. Get there and it's packed, but find a high top near the bar. Sit down. Super loud but an energetic atmosphere. Odd that so many people had young kids in the place but was... More
Hello Kevin, We are sorry that you did not have a good experience at our pub this past Saturday. It is out of the ordinary for us to receive feedback as such, as we are normally rated very favorably for the food and service that we provide our customers. Yes, you will always see children in our pub, as we... More
I have tried their spicy pasta, nachos, korean beef tacos and salads. Everything is decent, but nothing special to make me come more than once a year. Beer is decent, but the food leaves much to be desired. Patio is great for chilling out when it's warmer out.
One of the best jambalaya I've had en especially in Michigan! The beer is great and the ambiance works perfectly for a night out watching a game and chilling with the fellas...
Have gone to Royal Oak Brewery one three different occasions in the last 18 months, so my review is not based on a one time experience, but rather the collection of experiences I've had. The highlight of the place is certainly the beer. They offer a good selection that they brew and then a visiting beer in house as well,... More
We are sorry to hear that your meals have not lived up to your expectations. While we are happy that you appreciate the service and the atmosphere of our establishment, we are disappointed that the food has been lacking. To that point, we are preparing to roll out an updated menu in the coming weeks and we are confident that... More
The building has a bit of a smell of beer that I did not like but it is a brewery so I can't complain. The food was good but not amazing. There are a lot of options though which is nice. It is a big restaurant with a lot of seating and a bar obviously.
