It's all good! Steak made perfectly to order, pizza with stringy melted mozzarella, great drinks, and my fave- Shrimp Iggy! Baked crab stuffed, bacon wrapped shrimp. Fast and friendly service. If coming in a large group, request reservations.

We typically camp for a week each summer at Straits State Park and enjoy day trips into the UP. It's always great to finish the day with dinner at the VI in St. Ignace. We ate there several times last week and had a variety...More

I had a whitefish special on a bed of sautéed garlic spinach and roasted sweet potatoes with brown sugar and maple syrup (YUM). And the Mrs had the cioppino (not sure on the spelling). We were both very happy. And Angela provided great service.

Been coming to St. Ignace for a few years now and never stopped in. Finally had a chance this trip and I'm glad we did. Even though it was prime dinner time, there were plenty of seats and we got seated right away. We had...More

A lot of fish choices I haven't seen elsewhere, plus standard fare, from simple to more expensive, so you can almost have fine dining alongside a person eating traditional pub food. Quick service, tasty meals ( I tried the whitefish).

Pretty standard looking restaurant that seemed clean and well maintained. Nice view of the water across the street. Our server was nice but apparently our order got lost. Instead of just returning to us to confirm what we had ordered, she guessed and got several...More

A good selection of beers-- several from the Upper Peninsula (I always like to try to local microbrews when I travel) and the best burger I've had in a long time. It was some special burger I've forgotten the name of, but it had fried...More

We were in St Ignace on a very wet, windy night and looking for a place to eat not too far from the hotel. We chanced on the Village Inn and were very happy with our choice. The food was good, as was the service....More

We decided to meet up with friends staying in Saint Ignace and used Trip Advisor to try a new place. Everyone enjoyed the food. The whitefish dip appetizer, whitefish dinner and the crab stuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon. We will be back.

Not sure about a children's menu. I was there with a large group and had a buffet. We did have a chance to look over the menu and it was nice for the size of the restaurant.
