This is a MUST stop! Every time we go to the U.P. we stop and buy some for then and to take home. Everything is perfectly proportioned! Crust is soft and the gravy is like the cherry on top. Plus I feel as though their pasties are almost double the size for the same price as everyone else. Supposably Muldoon's... More

Any time I can have fast food and it's not a burger and fries, I'm in. Both hubby and I choose the original. It was delivered hot and wrapped up tight in its waxy paper for easy hand-held eating. Starting with the pasty crust it should be noted that a pasty is not made with pie crust or any other... More

My friend and I stopped here to get a pastie to split while we were on our way home. We've only had a pastie one other time about 2 years earlier at a different establishment in Michigan. That prior experience did not leave me feeling like I would really care one way or the other to have another pastie. We... More

About five miles west of St. Ignace is this pasty restaurant that doesn't seem to have changed since it was started in 1947. Menu is limited, pasty $8, soda $2 bottle of water $1. Mine was warm with a flaky crust that wasn't overly dry like some places. Even during the off-season they has a steady lunch crowd.

I have a other pasties in Michigan and even some in Montana but, these are the best! Simple, buttery flaky crust, stuffed to the limits with beef, onions, potatoes and rutabaga. A must stop and you must have cash. They can get really busy and run out because they they are just that good; so the earlier you can go... More

It's a must stop when we're in the Upper Peninsula. Not too far from the bridge off highway 2. Tasty & fresh from the oven. Best by far in the UP. We'll always stop at Lehto's when we're up north.

While on vacation in the UP, we wanted to do a little comparing of pasties. These are the best by far!!!!!!! The crust is perfect! The filling was plentiful and delicious! They do not scrimp on the meat. We had it with a side of gravy! Mmmmmm!

If you love pasties, this is the place. We stop there every visit up north, and they never fail to delight. Make sure you get them warm. With a little bit of ketchup, it's a meal that will keep you alive for a couple of days.
