We love this place. The soup and pita sandwiches are as good as any I've eaten in NYC. The service is excellent and friendly. The owners are Lebanese and the food doesn't disappoint! Clean and comfortable and always has a nice lunch crowd. Worth the short drive from 94 if you're stopping halfway between Chicago and Detroit. Great value too.

Owner is pleasant and friendly; Cashier/hostess curt at best to a 1st time customer. Hummus was excellent. Falafel wrap was ok but had skimpy portion of the falafel.

Don't be put off by the fact that this place is in a strip mall, surrounded by bog-standard chains like Burger King, Little Caesar's and Qdoba. It's an independent restaurant, and a tasty one. We've gotten takeout orders from them several times last summer and fall--mainly the variants on shawarma--and we'll be back again. We haven't eaten in the restaurant... More

Really enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere....nice music and decor, fresh flavorful food. But I was kind of grossed out by the dirty silverware and my plate looked filthy around the edges. I would give the restaurant another try because the food is great....maybe their dishwasher was broken.

In area on business and intended to go to another nearby restaurant that turned out to be closed. Only two other patrons on a Saturday night should have been my first clue. Took a while for the server to get to me. My salad looked like leftover wilted iceberg lettuce that was drowning in dressing. Worse, I had to fend... More

Ate lunch with my husband and two tween daughters. Friendly service, tasty food . Great Beef Galaba and Tabouli Salad, my daughters loved the Falafel and Hommus.

Their authentic cuisine is a refreshing change from the chain restaurants. If you like Shish Kabob, and Shawarma with tahini sauce you'll love their menu. The hummus is the best I've ever had. Super smooth and so flavorful. Highly recommend it!

Every time I visit friends in St. Joe, La Pita is a required stop as it never disappoints. Family-operated with lots of care. Love the tabouleh, hummus, kibi, grape leaves. Have not had a bad meal! Away from the downtown congestion. Make it a required stop for you, too!

Thank Kathy C
