Don’t miss Little Bohemia’s olive burger. Really delicious. Great, friendly service and a good beer selection.

Amazing olive burger, swiss n spinach sandwich, and cherry bread pudding! We had a chance to learn about the history of the restaurant from the owner as well. She was down-to-earth, hilarious, and a wonderful & attentive person.

We had driven by Little Bohemia many times but it was never the right time to stop until yesterday. We knew we had to try their signature Olive Burger and the Perch. Both were outstanding. The french fries are particularly good and do not skip...More

Loved this historic tavern. My favorite places anywhere I've traveled are the family owned, down to earth ones where you can be yourself and feel at home. The Bloody Marys, craft beers, Olive burger and beer cheese were Awesome! It was such a pleasure to...More

Great stroganoff ! Wife had a turkey sandwich! Was something that we haven't done for awhile. The only downside was that they only take cash.

What a great place to eat!!! And the kindest owner ever. We arrived for a late lunch just after the tavern closed prior to dinner. We were so disappointed because we had heard about the famous "olive burger". This restaurant was featured on The Food...More

Out of the ordinary and delicious. My husband had the olive burger-raved about it. I had the goulash which was wonderful with unique spices. We had the cherry bread pudding which easily fed two and took home a carrot cake. Lots of pride in their...More

The food was delicious but had an issue with our check. My husband paid the bill and after we left he said he thought we were overcharged. The next day on our way home we stopped back in for an explanation of our bill. We...More

I guess in the Midwest it's tavern food but I definitely know it as pub or bar food. However you describe it, this place is really good. It was a little walk from downtown but well worth it. We had the perch, which was exceptional....More

Description
Est. 1932, Traverse City's 2nd Oldest Tavern, started as a hot dog stand with curb side service, outdoor seating, annual ritual of making sauerkraut, and a Speak Easy in the basement. One evening the owner was held up by a couple of Capone’s men, warning him he’d better get his liquor from Capone or else! They were chased off by an employee who was able to sneak to his truck and get his shotgun. Located in the heart of “Little Bohemia” the original owner named it in honor of the Bohemian community; expansions in 1933 and 1947 made it an icon and a premier destination in the city’s West End District. It also basks in the glory of Sir Walter Hagen. The golf legend made a daily stop to “hold court”, play bumper pool and have a few drinks. He lovingly referred to it as his “home away from home.” In 1961, Arnold Palmer won his 1st British Open win; he received a “congratulations” call from Walter Hagen; the call was made from Little Bohemia. Stop by and take in some great local history!
