This place is great. They serve home style dishes. We found options for our picky meat and potato guys and vegan friends. Breakfast is wonderful, they even made a skillet by request from off menu. A favorite is the Traverse City Cherry Salad.

There was a group of four of us, and we went back both days. The service was amazing (ask for Coty, you won't be disappointed!), and the food was excellent. Don't miss out on the biscuits and gravy!

This restaurant has good quality food. They give you nice size portions. Every waitress I have had at this place has been great. The manager is extremely nice and helpful.

Met family for a late breakfast (10am) and I went with the morning special. Omelette with bacon, sausage and onions. It comes with cheddar but I asked for American cheese (I know, American cheese is one molecule away from plastic) but it tastes good; I like things that taste good. It came with hashbrowns that were cooked perfectly because I... More

The food is very good and plenty of sitting. Reminded me of the family style atmosphere. A variety of menu selections with reasonable pricing. Friendly staff and good service.

First thing our server did was to bring out a small loaf of cinnamon bread they called monkey bread. The salad bar had lots of... More

Other than a short wait to get a table, everything was perfect! Free monkey bread was a nice surprise. Great service. Food was great and large portions. Cook came out and asked how our food was. Let us know that he can make almost any flavor of pancake. Nice music playing. A good mix of 60s, 70s, and 80s. Enjoyed... More

We stayed at the BW Plus Hotel last weekend and Angela at the front desk highly suggested that we go to The Cottage. We were so glad we did. Great food, wonderful salad bar and family feel service. Kudos to the staff, owners, and Angela at BW for sending us there. We will be back when in TC and will... More
