We have eaten at all the Chinese restaurants in Traverse City. Fu Hua is our favorite. Compared to Chinese restaurants in other metropolitan areas in the U.S. their food is average to ok. But for T.C. it is the best.

Certainly appears to be an authentic family business. The Szechwan chicken is my favorite, it being the least westernized of the entrees I've found. The fried pot stickers are a guilty pleasure. The portions are large, the quality high, and the price tag is small. I only wish they had a buffet...

Portion sizes are pretty large for lunch. At 6 bucks or so, they are a deal as two normal eaters will be okay with one entree (I am not normal). Good selection of all your Chinese faves.

this place is kind of hidden in the shopping center but has some of the best tasting foods that are cooked up in front of you. fast service to pick-up and go.

Our favorite Asian carry-out! Big, fresh veggies, hearty portions and everything cooked to order. Located in the Tom's East Bay Plaza, there is plenty of parking & BATA buses regularly stop here.

This is a good, fast Chinese take-out place. The food was of good quality very affordable. I thought the portions were extremely large for the inexpensive price. I would definitely go there again.

Since we stay in a condo on East Bay every summer, we were thrilled to have this place so close by for a quick takeout meal when going out to dinner once again is not appealing to my wife and I. First, it is a take-out place only, located next to Tom's Supermarket. It is small and basically a family... More

We were looking for Chinese take-out and discovered this little jewel. I got the quart size Shrimp with Mixed Vegetables ($10.95) and my husband ordered the House Special Egg Foo Young ($9.75). He asked for extra gravy for the patties and they gave him a pint container at no extra charge. Our friend ordered Chef Special Seafood Combo ($15.75). The... More

We took a chance to go this restaurant during our stay in Traverse City. Bad idea. Place is a take-out, but has a few seats. But the food was horrible. The spring rolls were re-fried and rubbery, the eggplant in garlic sauce looked like it was swimming in some sweet orange sauce. The soups were tasteless.

It's a takeout restaurant in a strip mall next to a Tom's grocery store. Service is fast; food is plentiful and very reasonably-priced. It seems to be a family business, and you can watch the food being prepared. It wasn't really to my taste. A lot of fried food, much of it in sweet, heavy sauces. But I can see... More
