Delicious locally made ice cream. Great variety of flavors. Fun sundae options for kids. Indoor or outdoor seating. Call ahead to book tours of the dairy or ice cream process.

Although Moomers won some award awhile back I find it equivalent to budget ice cream. They do have some creative flavors but the product itself is full of lab stuff and melts faster than a premium product. Stuff ain't cheap either. Try Tillamook made in...More

The restaurant was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of friendly, well-trained staff to minimize wait times, although there was usually a line for their great ice cream. Portions were generous and reasonably priced. They had several sugar-free varieties available and a wide selection--hard to...More

Stopped by for the first time after dinner recently. Awesome place. Ice cream was delicious - same price for waffle cones as regular cones. Flavor choices were excellent and prices were very reasonable. It was fun sitting at one of the picnic tables watching the...More

Great local ice cream. Lots of favors. Eat inside or out. Look out over the farm and enjoy the cows. Aware of food allergies. Lots of gluten free options. Gets busy in the summer. No line on an early Monday afternoon.

Whenever in Traverse City I always make it a point to visit Moomers. Ice cream is as good as advertised. Can get busy at times, so be patient, but it's worth the wait.

When we got there, there was a long line, but it moved very, very quickly. So many choices to choose from-good thing they had laminated menus for people in line. The prices are very reasonable and the quality and taste can't be beat! Great value....More

Lines are long but this place is run like a well oiled machine. Better know what you want when you get to the counter or you'll get a cow pie. Orders are up as fast as you place them. Scoops are big. Head outside to...More

Great icecream. But must be willing to wait. Long line. You will not be disappointed. Nice variety. Staff are great. Don't look for your old favorite they change all the time.

Can you tell me, Wallybeary, why you say 'good, but not great?' So. Why not great? Your reasons are... And, can you clarify what you mean by saying, "two scoops is just that not more than a scoop" because I don't follow you here -- what do you mean? I have found their portions more than generous -- do you feel they have been stingy?
