We were seated in a very sunny area of the patio, with no shade, and I asked if we could be moved. Hostess said we would have to go to the bottom of the wait list again. I asked for a manager who must have...been in a rudeness competition with the hostess. She came out, didnt ask me anything, jjust said that's their policy, but they will seat people waiting then see if a shady table opened up. We just went back to our table. Then, after a while she came to our table and even more rudely said " I need to know what you want to do". We stsyed put and dealt with the sun. I'll never go back there.More

Glad to hear they still have turkey dinners on Sundays—my fav. Though best server Tim had day off, good service. Outside dining was delightful. Alaskan Amber was its usual cold and delicious. Consistently good food and drink.

I picked this place to take my family out to dinner because the food and atmosphere are both great. I was not disappointed and with Carly's good nature it made our dinning experience even better. Thanks, will be seeing you soon.

I had last visited Camp Ticonderoga about 20 years ago and had great memories about the food and drink. So, my family and I decided to go here for dinner. The interior of the restaurant is great! You feel like you are in a skiing...lodge in Colorado. The host was very disorganized and took forever to seat one table and then come back to the front to seat another table. Maybe he also had to sanitize the tables? Not sure, but for a half-empty restaurant, it took a long time to be seated. Our server was excellent! I wish I could remember her name. She was very friendly and attentive. Our food was just okay. I had the Camp whitefish which I assumed was a specialty of the house based on the name. It was a huge plate of broiled whitefish, grilled/steamed vegetables and red skin potatoes. It looked good, but the fish was under-seasoned and didn't taste like much. The vegetables were good but the entire dish was missing just a bit of salt and butter. Overall, I was underwhelmed and crushed that it didn't live up to my memories.More

My husband and I ate here for the first time on 7-31-2020. The food was good and waitstaff very nice. We ordered a plate of the chocolate chip cookies to go They were in a container inside a brown paper bag. I wish I had...looked at them before we left. They were overdone almost to point of being burned. very thin and tasted like baking soda. We were very disappointed with them. I would eat there again, but , no dessert.More

Went here with a group of about 15 women for our annual Christmas dinner. We were seated at two tables of eight and as we arrived our waitress (Lauren?) was taking our drink orders which was fine. Once we were all there a waiter came...to the head of the two tables, called for our attention, told us he was Tim and started explaining the specials. One of our group was standing a little away from him conversing with another member of the group who was seated. He stopped, stepped over, took her by the arm and informed her that he had the floor. He then proceeded to hold her by the arm while he finished his spiel. Totally weird and inappropriate! He also photo-bombed our group picture. As far as the food, it's pretty mediocre. Our group comes here at the holidays because it's pretty inside, but next year I'll suggest we go elsewhere.More

In the last year the service at dinner has not been good. Inattentive wait staff is the primary problem. At lunches it’s been great, but as recently as last Friday evening, dinner service was just missing. That’s been the case over the last year. Otherwise...Camp Ticonderoga is a good place to go.More

Went for a Christmas dinner with my director and staff. Interesting location - I was told that the place is haunted. Comfy seats and generally a nice spot. Food was reasonably priced and the drinks were good. Our waiter was problematic to say the least...the...manager must know this guy will cause him or her a problem at some point down the road. He went out of his way to recommend the Buffalo Balls and then went on to say, in a very loud voice, if you like the balls you will probably want the Hancock burger...you know what I am saying. If I had been present with Duchess I would have called over the manager immediately. No doubt everyone at the close tables heard this doofus. Generally this waiter attitude spoiled my evening. I ended up having a burger with fries and it was fine. But management needs to step up and do something with this fool...a short skinny guy that wears his shirts a little too tight to show off his 14" pythons.... Big well lit parking lot and comfortable seating. Lots of stuff on the menu to choose from. And a great back story! I was told that the show ghost hunters had filmed an episode there.More

Marlene, just give them a call. I have not been there for Easter. Most places have a special Easter Brunch.

They do not have a "gluten free menu" specifically, but they have GF items and will accomodate requests and can inform which items are "off limits"
