We found this place while visiting the area. Their home-made drinks were amazing. I had the gluten-free pizza and it was delicious.

A group of four of us walked the small city street along Grand River with plans to stop in for a cocktail or two (or three). The place is full of energy but sooo loud that we didn't take the comfy lounge chairs near the front windows because we had a hard time hearing each other. It is great to... More

109 hasn't been around all that long but it's become one of our 3 fall-back spots- you know, when you want to go out but don't have anything specific in mind, but there are a couple of places where you feel comfortable, the food is delicious, you don't have to dress up - a fall-back! What can be a higher... More

Swanky like spot in small town. Good food and interesting drinks. Easy street parking and limited seating.

Went here on Friday night with another couple who dine here often and are very selective about where they eat. We are from near Grand Rapids and will definitely visit again. Pear pizza out of this world, beautiful salads... do wish they made their own bloody mary mix.

the meal was ok but nothing special. It was more of a laid back atmosphere. More like a town bar than a restaurant.

Today for lunch I ordered the petite filet mignon with carmelized onion sauce -- with garlic mashed potatoes and cole slaw as sides. The steak was cooked to perfection (!) (medium rare) and the sauce was outstanding. The mashed potatoes and cole slaw really rounded out the perfect meal. Accompanied by a Vanilla martini: Absolute vanilla vodka, fresh lemon juice,... This is our favorite pub/diner/restaurant in the Lansing area. Our favorites are the pear pizza (yes, pear!), pulled pork sandwich, spinach salad with salmon, lobster mac&cheese, and steak&gorgonzola pizza. The small filet mignon is also very good. This is not gourmet dining, but extraordinarily well-prepared comfort food.

Pleasant atmosphere, food was tasty. Service was fine. Tomato Bisque is served very hot. Fish, hamburger, chili all were very good. Worth going out the way to come here.

My husband and I selected this place for dinner before a show at the Williamston Theatre. There was a bit of a post-MSU game crowd on a Saturday evening, but the hostess had us seated at the bar for the short wait. I splurged on one of their signature cocktails, a Cherry Mule, which was perfect. My husband enjoyed the... More
