Wild Hare makes more than an amazing cup of Joe; it also has delicious food. While I have eaten there only for lunch (which brought me back a number of times), I am eager to try breakfast there too. The food is delicious and well-prepared. The environment is conducive to casual meetings with friends or taking your laptop to get... More

If you are looking for a great hometown cafe in Bemidji, try the Wild Hare Bistro/coffeehouse. My favorite, the vegetable panini is hard to beat, along with their chili. Pick anything on the menu and you will be happy with. The staff is great! Give it a try.

Coffee, sandwiches, ambience...they've got it all. A bit speedy, but a very "local" feel. Enjoyable experience.

My wife is very health conscious, I am somewhat of a junk food junkie. I sometimes think that healthy = no taste. But that is not the case here. We both really enjoy this restaurant. The food is good, the people are friendly, and it has a relaxed atmosphere, really nice for visiting.

I have been travelling back and forth to Bemidji for the past number of months, and this place is an excellent standout for lunch. Excellent soups and sandwiches. On my last trip I had the tomato bisque, which was extremely fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of spices. The Reuben Panini was wonderful. Fresh panini, lean corned beef, buttery... More

This is an organic-foods type restaurant. Customers order at the counter and bus their dishes when through. The food was delicious. The restaurant was clean. We were there middle of the afternoon so not too busy. My husband had the meatless chili which would normally not interest him, but he said it was delicious. This is located next to an... More

Lunch on the road can be challenging. The restaurants don't always present themselves when I am hungry. Bemidji was a good time of the day for us and we were lucky to find the Wild Hare. It is a busy local restaurant and coffee shop at noon. People are lined up to place their orders. So we joined the line... More

Perfect soups , coffees , and specials ! This started out as the Uptown Cafe and serves as a hub for excellent food , art openings , and a social hub . There are ethnic focused thematic meals that are gourmand for such a small town !

I've been to the Wild Hare many years ever since I was a kid and they never disappoint. The food is made fresh by expert staff and they always make me feel invited (Alex Narveson is always especially helpful and friendly). I really enjoy having coffee in the back patio that is covered and contained by vines, making it a... More
