Attached to the hotel I was at, this has a nice selection of dishes. If you have children or are a picky eater, this might not be your favorite spot. The burger was great, the French onion soup was wonderful

Typically when you eat in a hotel restaurant, my expectations are low. But this was great! We had the cauliflower fritters. Delicious! Then we were overjoyed to see they had popovers. Yum! I had the walleye and my wife had the steak au poivre. This was extraordinary....order this!

Very nice full service restaurant in downtown Minneapolis. In business since 1941 but with a fresh updated traditional decor and upscale menu. Attentive service. Highly recommended!

Love this bar. Recently remodeled for more seating at the bar. Jazz was great, drinks were good. Food was excellent.

We had dinner at The Normandy Kitchen on the recommendation of a family member. The King Henry Burger is big and tasty... but mine was a bit overcooked. The fries were tasty. The menu wasn't super-extensive; but it said right on it "Winter Menu" so maybe there are more choices in a different time of year. The people were very... More

Very nice looking upscale bar and grill. Also the most unwelcoming two bartenders/people we met in our 3 days here. The first guy wasn't rude to just us, a table of 3 came in and he treated them like garbage too. With someone else working the next night, we went back. Big mistake. He was as bad as the first.... Very cool vibe here, it's like an old English pub. Food was great, I ate here 3 nights in a row while staying at the hotel. I had a different bartender 2 of the 3 nights, and were both very helpful and friendly. The only feedback I would give would be to make some of the sandwich and burger offerings... More

Just OK. With so many restaurants around this hotel, I would call it a fall back on place. Not bad, not good. The workers try their best but nothing is memorable. Salads, soups the best of the menu. Drinks seem overpriced even for a hotel, and no happy hour.

Handy when traveling with older generation. Easy access to restrooms nearby and comfortable seating.

In Minneapolis for business and ended up eating here twice, enjoyed both times. There was some remodeling in progress, not sure exactly what was being done. The decor was very old school, almost to the point of being kitschy, but it wasn’t really a distraction. We had both lunch and dinner, and both were excellent. Sandwiches were generous and tasty....
