This was our first visit to the Lowry, which is a bit surprising because we live so close. We didn't have dinner, just drinks and a couple of appetizers. But we will certainly go back because we had a very nice experience. There wine list is a bit limited but our deviled eggs and Brussels sprouts appetizers were very tasty... More

The Lowry is great overall - high quality food. The deviled eggs have the best flavor - just love them with pickle relish, bacon and curry! The eggplant parmesan is also delicious as is the bison burger.

I love The Lowry. Great food, wonderful ambiance & excellent service. My wife & I love The Lowry and try to visit for breakfast a few times each year. Never a disappointment. Get there early on the weekend to avoid a wait. This place fills up. Great to sit at the bar or high top and enjoy a Greyhound or... More

Probably the best BBQ bacon burger (The Lowry burger) I've had and an excellent grilled chicken sandwich in a clean, modern Uptown location. The service was quick and friendly, and the food full of flavor. Could have used a few more fries, but that is the only complaint. They keep a modern feel with a historic nod, including matchbooks and... More

Like the Edina Grill, a Blue Plate restaurant. Excellent fish and chips, fish tacos, sandwiches and a few salads. Chicken and waffles are available (at least at lunch).

The cheese curds are good, but the blueberry ketchup that they're served with, makes them amazing. We love to order the chicken and waffles and also the beet salad. It's helpful, too, that there is free parking.

We arrived before the end of "social" hour but if it's too busy in the bar to be seated, evidently you're out of luck for "social" hour prices. Well that wouldn't do for our group so they trotted over to the bar for their "social" hour beverages and came back to our table in the dining room. Seems like an... More

The best dinner of our 3 day visit. Will definitely return on our next trip to Minneapolis. The young man serving our table was average at best. Perhaps new & in need of more training?

The Lowry is an awesome place that you can enjoy with just about anyone at just about any time! With breakfast, lunch and dinner options available from 6:30am until 2am every day. Not to mention a MORNING (what!?) social hour. If the Lowry can't make you happy, nothing can. The staff is amazing, the food is scrumptious and while the... More
