This restaurant is located near Lake Calhoun. It is a tavern style type of restaurant with large windows to lighten the dining area. The food is exceptional. We especially enjoyed the fish and chips which is large enough of a serving that most individuals can easily split the order with someone else. The fries were amazing fresh cut potatoes that... Though there are several traditional British offerings, this popular restaurant offers an international menu with dishes like Asian Hangover (delicious!) and Banh Mi. And do NOT miss the Battered Green Beans with truffle aioli!! Great service, good food, wonderful area, thoroughly enjoyable!!

My wife tried the filet sandwich and I had the beef short ribs. Some of the most tender short ribs I've had--with no fat. Good mash as well. We started with the egg rolls-a specialty-and the onion rings, both very good. We were happy sitting at the bar instead of waiting for a table. Beer and wine available.

I met a friend here for a few drinks and appetizers and this had been on my list for awhile as it has such rave reviews. I was surprised by how small it is perhaps 20-25 tables and bar seating. We grabbed a spot at the Bar and Tara set us up with a round, a beer for me -... More

Our meals were average but the bacon-onion dip was fantastic! The dip itself was gluten free and they brought me gluten free crackers.

Great place for food. Took others posted reviews and made a reservation for 1830 ( earliest one they had) even though it was a Monday, we got there early 1730 and were seated right away. See why you need reservations, small venue. Food was great and not pricey. Recommend you get the onion/ bacon dip yum, yum!

Was a great dinner! Onion dip was awesome & fish & chips was perfectly prepared. Food was hot & delicious. Went here while traveling for business after seeing it on Diners Drive-ins & Dives. It was worth the drive. People were nice, service was great. Reservations are needed. Wednesday night & the earliest reservation we could get was 7:30, because... More

We were fortunate to get a table right away on a Saturday afternoon at this popular restaurant. I had the Elizabeth salad and added pulled chicken. The chicken had a reheated taste and I wasn't fond of it. The rest of the salad was average. My husband has a burger and he was happy with his meal. I have heard... More

What an amazing little place. Warm greetings, warm décor, craft beer and EVERYTHING is homemade and FABULOUS!!!....right down to their own Tartar sauce! My 18year old son was home from College, during his Christmas break, and we had a mother/son date day. We had heard about this restaurant on the TV Show, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, with Guy Fieri, and... More

Had a wonderful family meal here – this is my granddaughter's favourite place to eat out. Our server was outstanding, even when a full pint of beer got knocked over. Never gone wrong with a menu choice. Deep fried green beans are a must-try. Craft beer list is terrific.
