Had been there before. Had a wonderful experience the first time, this time for me a medium wonderful one! Before all of the dishes were amazingly on point. This time I had the Rama with shrimp. Very, very generous portion and with extremely fresh ingredients. But there was way too much peanut sauce that overwhelmed the veggies and shrimp. However,... More

We recently had lunch here and it was some of the best Thai food I've ever had. We had lettuce wraps, which was amazing...then spicy noodles and green curry. The spicy noodles were good but the green curry was great. It had the best flavor and subtle heat. Maybe it was spicier than subtle, but it was great.

Second time eating at Naviya's Thai Brasserie. Let's just say I've had better. It's not that it wasn't good but not good enough for me to probably go there again. I asked for sticky rice and got jasmine (oh no) but the point is, it wasn't a big request. Service was o.k., space ok, a bit stark, good location in... More

All the lunches our group of four ordered were really delicious! Unfortunately, they didn't seem to have enough staff. The same man who is the host is also the waiter, busboy and who knows what he does in the back kitchen. It's a small place, but one person to do it all made for a longer lunch. I ordered the... Missing good Thai food we relied upon our fellow diner's recommendations for the best Thai restaurant in the SE suburbs of Minneapolis. The beautiful Lake Harriet area is a hidden geographic gem in Minneapolis, and we hoped for a great experience at the perfectly located Naviya's Thai Brasserie. The ambience is OK. Stark and bistro-ish. Absent of typical Thai art... More

Had never been to this cute spot before and went with a friend for dinner. We were there early (5 pm) and had our choice of where to sit. The room is medium size, bright with natural light, wooden table tops and sparse clean lines. The tables are a bit close but even as the restaurant filled, it didn't seem... More

One of our favorite Thai places in the cities. Like the remodel. Love the area around the lakes. Favorites are the Rama Thai with shrimp (spice level 4) and the Pad Thai. Ice cream down the street at Sebastian Joe's for dessert. Finish the night off with a walk around the lake at sunset

I love Naviya's. Although I haven't tried every Thai restaurant in the Twin Cities, this is my favorite and it's so hard not to come back to. Their food is fresh, authentic and tasty, their tea is good & the wait staff is usually nice/pleasant. I enjoy dining in now that their restaurant is newly remodeled (with a much better... More

The food is still good but delivery was poor. Service in the house was slow to arrive. The restaurant was75% full. Water came but more only by asking when food was delivered. Heavy take out business, those customers didn't seem to wait long. Kitchen management may in fact be the issue . The food is still very good but I... More

I was in from out of town and family suggested it as a great place for dinner. Thankfully, they made reservations. Not a big place, tucked into an old neighborhood that suddenly looks trendy again. The place was full and many people waiting for tables and carry out. Food was good. It was incredibly loud. Service was leisurely. The waiter... More
