I went here 3 mornings in a row. One of the best burgers I've had - homemade fries, great breakfast dishes! A little piece of history to eat at!

An eclectic place, if I am alone I always sit at the counter and get into interesting conversations. My favs are the Bro Burger and the Bro omelet. The fries are better than most in the Twin Cites.

Great coffee and food as it has been served for decades. A wonderful, small, cozy stop for breakfast.

What a great find at the edge of downtown Minneapolis. Worth the drive. It is a cross between Mickeys Diner in the train car located downtown Saint Paul (much more dining space) and a 1960's diner. Parking is plentiful along the street. The area is safe. We were greeted with a smile on the first cold Saturday morning in November.... More

I followed recommendations on this website to eat here. It was easy to walk to from down town. Meals were cheap and there were only 1 other person here when i arrived so food was quick. Had pancakes and hash browns for about 11 bucks. Not fancy, but good old school, basic food

This is what a "diner" is SUPPOSED to be. Fun convo, a flat top, legitimate cooks and servers, cans of soda, greasy breakfast etc. A small time, local feel. Love it.

This owner-operated diner is very unique in that it has survived the revitalization/gentrification that has been happening around Elliott Park neighborhood over the years. It remains to be seen whether the new wave of revitalization brought about by the new vikings stadium will spare this quaint diner. It is primarily kept in business by the lunch hour crowd from HCMC... More

Spent five months in Europe and came straight to the Bandbox from the airport! Great place to eat and catch up with friends. A nice selection of breakfast food and burgers. The atmosphere is vintage and cozy. Ten of us at the big table on national Hamburger day!

We were tired of chain restaurant food and this place was recommended to us. We were on foot and it was a good fifteen minute walk from downtown but worth it. A tiny hole in the wall, the burgers and fries are the best! The place is tiny with counter seating and perhaps five or six tables. There was a... More
