I found this place while trying to waste some time while my wife was getting her eye lashes done around the corner. It was an unseasonably warm Saturday afternoon and I was serving penance for some male infraction occasioned by my inability to read my wife's mind. A waste of a perfectly good day to go for a motorcycle ride.... More

Delicious food. Incredible service. Cash only. Plan to pickup - limited seating. Try the pulled pork. Ribs fall off the bone. Spice level is variable by request.

My wife and I had lunch at Scott's during a weekday. The dining area is quite small but is fun to sit at the small tables and look at all the memorabilia on the walls. We ordered two pulled pork sandwiches with medium sauce. The pork was super tender without any fat and the sauce was the best BBQ I've... More

This 'dive' has fantastic BBQ ribs and Chicken at affordable prices. Small, with just one hight top round table - seems most people take out. 3 choices for BBQ sauce - mild, moderate and hot. I chose medium - had enough kick to it for me. (I heard one person order sauce on the side - so that's available.) I... More

This hidden gem in S Minneapolis cooks up a family rib recipe that melts in your mouth. Just the right amount of spice and a healthy order with meaty ribs for the full rack. Great price too! Be prepared to take your order to go though as this is not a sit down stop.

We needed to celebrate with my favorite meal and did a random Google search for "best ribs minneapolis". We found Scott J. and that has resulted in our need never to search again...default rib takeout...check!

Just finished helping my daughter move so she suggested we get lunch at her favorite BBQ joint. OMG who knew??? Pulled pork sandwich with lots of extra sauce, slaw and chips. What an amazing treat.

We are long time fans of the half rack dinner which comes with a twice baked potato, coleslaw and a roll. The menu also includes pulled pork and chicken all for eat in, take-out or delivery.Over the years the quality has been consistently good, portions generous and, of course, you've gotta love Scott, the owner. Why this place doesn't take more... More

Wanna make your sweetie swoon over some hole in the wall rib joint- this is it. You can eat in but there is just ONE table and you have to share. The spuds are awesome and the ribs are tender. Most people grab a bag and go eat nearby or sit and enjoy them in-house if you are lucky enough... More

Very good barbecue - pulled pork, ribs, chicken, and outstanding beans. Baked potatoes are an art form done well here. Very friendly service, very good food. Seating for about 6, but it turns over fast. Great place for a warm lunch on a cold day, but don't let that keep you away in the summer.
