We were in town for the Prince celebration and absolutely loved this pub. Great food, generous drinks and the most friendly staff. We had brunch, lunch and dinner here over the course of a week and enjoyed all visits. Truly a great place to come.

Food was really good- I had salmon and loved it. Service was also great. A close walk from our hotel in downtown Minneapolis. Very pretty Bar and woodwork.

The Sunday buffet is no more. We loved the buffet but it doesn't sound like it's coming back. So we made our own version and ordered the American Breakfast and the Irish Breakfast. Very good. Attached is the Breakfast Menu. We will keep coming back. Soccer fans, Sunday brunchers and the like make the atmosphere. We love The Local. For... More

They did a great job making this place look authentic. The food was very authentic as well. Everyone loved their Irish fare from Shepard pie, fish and chips, meatloaf, and pot roast.

Better than most places that call themselves Irish pubs - The even had Harp on draft which is becoming less available in my travels. Good bar servers - pub grub - environment - location.

We came here after an event at the convention center...there were many places to sit and talk over a good selection of beers.

The Local is good for a late drink in downtown. Enough space to fit bigger groups and on a weekday not too full. When it's warm, you can sit outside as well.

Love their Jamison and Gingers. Beautiful, cozy place. Nice long bar. Good authentic Irish food. Good beer choicesalso. Good bartenders and wait staff. Along Nicolette Mall. Has construction going on outside, but don't let that stop you from trying this place.

Was there on a busy Friday evening. Even though all restaurant tables did not appear to be full, we were seated after about 20 minutes at a table in the bar. Beautifully decorated, but seated next to a table full of loud, drunk patrons who probably should no longer have been served. Service was ok....waitress was good but think the... More
