This was a fun, quirky spot for lunch during a campus visit. We had a sandwich/salad combo and a quesadilla - the quesadilla was really good! The combo was just ok. It is a college coffee house, so kind of grungy, but the service was nice, food prep was really slow. I would go back, but not if I had... More

I wanted to take a walk and find a great breakfast and I was lucky to find the Purple Onion. The breakfast sandwich was really tasty and it did not break the bank. The sparkling peach tea was refreshing. Both totaled $7.98.

Heard great things about this place from the locals..we were not dissapointed! You order at the counter then chose where to sit. We sat outside on the patio in the front. I can recommend The Three Little Pigs scramble and pancakes. There were a variety of pasteries that also looked delicious. We were there about 9:30 on a Sunday morning... More

I enjoyed eating breakfast here. It was one of the few restaurants in the neighborhood that I could find oatmeal. They had great coffee, as well. I am a senior, so it was fun to be where the students go.

Really liked the food - pancakes with almonds and strawberries - num, Rob's French toast is amazing, barbecued pork sandwich is one of the best I have ever tasted, and the mandarin orange salad was great. Everything is so fresh. Everyone was very friendly! The atmosphere is relaxing - plenty of tables and sitting areas with sofas and chairs available.... More

Coffee is ok, breakfast is delicious. Some of the best French toast I ever had. Got a lavender latte and the barista said it was really sweet, but there was really just a hint of flavor. I'd go back though for a different coffee.
