Overall the we had a good experience, but their menu was basically a copy-paste of another popular sushi place in Rochester - Ichi-Tokyo with comparable prices

Again, it really pains me to write a review in the negative, but in this case I feel its needed. Stopped in on sunday, easter Sunday. Expected the place to be really busy. 2 tables in the display cooking area had families. Now let me say that if you had a family engagement you might like it still. They play... More

It's kind of hard to rate the food. I had the filet mignon hibachi and it was fantastic, but someone in our party had the NY Strip hibachi and the meat was spoiled. I've been to several hibachi restaurants, and with that one exception, this was the best food. The service was a bit slow, but the hibachi chef was... More

Our meal here was noisy because of the hibachi clatter. Food was ok, kind of heavy, wait staff was very congenial. Mediocre experience

Didn't get a chance to try the Sushi but had the Hibachi Dinner and I thought it was great. Our server was really friendly and gave us great service. One thing I would say is that the place could use some updating and the music playing did not go with the theme of the restaurant.

Went for a family birthday celebration and did the hibachi grill. We made a reservation and got in right away. Service was quick (but never felt rushed) and we got our drinks shortly after we were seated. Our chef John was great, very entertaining! Food was great too. Also Ordered a yum yum sushi roll which was so good. Everyone... More

My husband & I have eaten here twice, and each time we experienced good food but sub-par service. The first time, was pretty terrible, but we decided to give it a second chance. We waited over ten minutes just to order our drinks - both times. I wouldn't recommend their dining room, although I have heard their hibachi grill is... More

While the food is decent, you better be ready to wait a very long time for your food to come to your table. I've been here multiple times and each time I have the exact same experience. I always get to the point I am saying I will give it 5 more minutes and if my food doesn't come I'm... More

we did the habachi grill, the chef was great, kept the fun going. The white sauce for your rice is to die for, and they sell it by the bottle. This is definitely someplace I'd plan to bring the family.

My hubby & I love to eat here, we go every time we're in Rochester. There's never a wait, it's not loud, clean & pretty inside. The food is incredible!!!! My hubby gets sushi & I get hibachi which is always great. Can't say anything bad about Osaka, everything is excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Highly recommend
