We recently had a stop at Kips pub in honor of St Patrick's Day. We had a large group of people with us and it went very well. We ordered appetizers ahead of our arrival and they were hot, ready, tasty and waiting. The wait staff was good and given our large group did a pretty decent job.
Kip's is the onsite restaurant at the Minneapolis Marriott West. I didn't expect much as a result but, the food and service was great. They have a full bar and a nice selection of beer. TVs line the bar and the dining area if you want to catch a game. Our server was very attentive and patient with indecision from... More
We have never been to this restaurant when it's been super busy and we've ordered food during both lunch and dinner. Our dinner experience was much more enjoyable because the staff was more attentive when they were busier. The beef short ribs are tasty and so are the salads.
We got the breakfast buffet as part of our bus tour - it did not disappoint. There is something for everyone with cold cereal, oatmeal, pastries, eggs, breakfast meat, and the added bonus of an omelette and waffle station. They will cook your omelettes made to order. Everything I tried was good, and the servers were all very friendly. They... More
We ate at Kip's as a late dinner at 7:30pm. We were seated promptly but it took a long time for the server to come around for drinks. We ended up ordering our drinks, appetizer, and meal at once because we didn't know when our server would be back again. The mixed Beer with Whisky drinks were good. I would... More
Went on a Wednesday night and it was busy but not crazy. We sampled a couple appetizers, which were good. The walleye fish and chips were really tasty as well as the Shepherds pie. Veggies could have been cooked a little longer but the flavor was good. Large servings and reasonably priced. Our table sampled three desserts and my favorite... More
A popular place for business people during lunch. The night I was there it was pretty empty for dinner. Food was your typical burgers, etc. If you are staying at the hotel it its a handy place to eat.
i ate here for dinner on a weeknight. I was seated off the main dining area in a side room that had a very lovely fire glowing in the fireplace in the room's center, which was nice. The staff was friendly, discreet, and helpful. The salads were presented in lovely, high, unusual bowls and were very generous. However, the crabcake... More
I go to Kip's all the time and they have a great atmosphere and drinks and food. Their rotating seasonal beers are all great choices and their wings are wonderful. The only issue I have with Kip's is their food prices. If you go there for a meal you're going to be spending a lot more than at other similar... More
