We flew into Minneapolis and stayed at the Intercontinental in St. Paul before driving into central Wisconsin to see family. Coming from San Francisco and been to many major cities in US and world wide, we did not expect to find such an international top notch restaurant in St. Paul. The food was excellent even for foodie and world travelers,... More

We jested finished eating at Faces. I had taken the advice of "Trip Advisors" reviewers on the best restaurant near at the new Hyatt Place hotel-- never appeared while scrolling through the nearest. As it turned out ate at two highly rated restaurants that had neither the ambience nor the food quality. The wait staff is on the ball, polite,... More

Opened and run by David Fhima, this place has been on a steady decline for quite some time. Nearly deserted during the lunch hour and service has been generally slow the last time I ate there The menu selections are limited, which isn't a bad thing if each are prepared properly. unfortunately not. The monte cristo is ok, but doesn't... More

We had dinner on a Tuesday evening. The service was friendly, attentive and very good offering suggestions from the menu. We shared a starter which was a Morrocan dish that included peppers, carrots, potato and some other items that we were not familiar with but were in a spicy sauce. It was very interesting a good. We each had the... More

We have been here several times and really love the food. I know some people have had poor service, but fortunately we have always been lucky with our servers. However, on this visit we ordered a bottle of Seghesio Zinfandel and the waiter came back to double check the order and we confirmed what we wanted. Here is when it... More

Wow, That does not sound like fun! While we are happy that you enjoyed the food, your full experience is not how we intend FACES to be represented! We apologize for this set of circumstances and would like to say thank you for taking the time to review us by offering you a complimentary glass of wine when you come... More

While sitting here for 45 minutes waiting for dinner to arrive (yes, we ordered 45 minutes ago and have been here an hour) I have read other reviews. I really like the restaurants reply to one who said they don't care and the restaurant thinks it is because of a living social deal. We are from out of town, full... More

Thank you for taking the time to also go online with your review of the restaurant after you sent an email directly to our website at the same time (to which we replied as well). As we stated in the email, it is unacceptable that you had to wait and clearly an issue that we had that evening. We did... More

We bought a groupon for this first visit and made a phone reservation. I really don't get negative or neutral reviews :) maybe some should stick to chain restaurants lol The service was perfect and the food was delicious as expected. We had prawn tagine, steak au poivre, the prime rib Bordelaise and the 3 layers chocolate cake (to die... More

Pros: The restaurant is in a great location across from Mears Park - made even better if you can snag one of the three outdoor tables on a lovely evening. The sea salt fries with Bernaise sauce were incredibly flavorful, ditto for the braised lamb shank tagine and the flourless chocolate torte. The staff was friendly, but... Cons: ...inattentive to... Perfect setting for a work function with huge windowslooking into Mears park. There is a semi privare party space for a group function. Food was creative and tasty. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Used Groupon for 4 people. Extremely limited on what you can get, also "out of" many items including the best appetizer and the best dessert....of course. The very rare time that I felt the Groupon price paid was way too much. See photos...Poopoo platter (our new name for seafood tangine after hubby got very sick from it) $32 NY strip... More
