My dad is new to Minnesota and Mickeys was on the list of places to visit. We stopped in today and didn't stay. The cook and the waitress were so incredibly rude that we left. Good-bye Mickeys, you will not get another dime of my money. Its sad that they would choose to represent an icon in such a poor... More

We had really good service; reminds me of Waffle House in the best way possible! The omelet was so hearty!

I lived for several years in the 1990s in Minneapolis and often ate at Mickey’s Diner particularly for lunch and breakfast when my son was a student at Macalester College. You might consider my review biased because my great uncle was Jerry O’Mahony, the builder of Mickey’s Diner. My grandfather, Daniel A. Mahoney (note the name change)started the company with... We ate here on Thanksgiving as it was open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Nothing else was open and we had heard this wasn't too bad. Our food was good and greasy....nothing special. Our children loved the atmosphere of eating in a railcar. I had blueberry pancakes and eggs which were really good and my pancakes were... More

Mickey's Diner (on 7th, not downtown) is a classic greasy spoon, 24 hour spot. Breakfast is the specialty, with hash browns that are worth the trip alone. My omelet was fine, although a little browner that I like. Service was good, atmosphere was an old greasy spoon diner. If you don't want that, go elsewhere.

Just the best place to take a young kid because they really get a kick out of it! Plus, they love the short-stack pancakes! (They really are yummy!) There is a small FREE parking lot! Downtown St Paul is not hard to navigate. Especially to get to Mickey's because it's right on 7th. The food is Good Eats for sure!... More

Found this place by accident. My friend and I were looking for a place to eat breakfast and stopped here. Sure glad we did. Good old fashion food and all homemade. Had the pancakes the first morning (huge!) and they were great. We enjoyed the place (and owner) so much we came back the next morning for breakfast. Once again... More

A real slice of Americana. The workers are entertaining and the food is delicious. They serve breakfast 24/7. It’s a cramped little dining car. You may have to wait for a seat, but the experience is worth the wait. The prices are also very reasonable and you won’t walk away hungry.

If you come here looking for class...you've come to the wrong place. This is a dive, but I happen to really like classic old dives so it was fun for us to stop in after a tough day of travel. This Mickey's is close to the airport, so you can hit it on the way in or out. Good sized... More

I have eaten at Mickey's Diner in downtown St. Paul at least three times a year for the last three decades--with some gaps in there somewhere. But suffice to say, I'm a casual regular at Mickey's Diner. When the subject comes up, I'm the first to say that Mickey's is not a "greasy spoon." Their rolls are excellent, burgers are... More
