Great beer selections with very knowledgeable and helpful servers. We had the reuben (very good), the Selby (fabulous) and the sausage and kraut bake (OMG!! This was awesome!) The coleslaw is fabulous. One negative - limited parking. Do NOT park in Mississippi Market lot. You will get towed.

Average food. Long wait for food after placing order. Food arrived in waves which was annoying. One time visit.

Stopped in for supper. For a bar, it had a good menu and a large beer selection. I had a buffalo chicken sandwich which had a nice kick to it and the chicken was moist. My son said his hamburger was very good. Our problem was that it was cold inside the bar. They need to turn up the heat.

We've passed this place a thousand times but never eaten here so we decided to try it. There is a broad menu, much broader than typical bar food. There are a number of Mexican specialities that we'll probably come back to try. However, we asked the wait person for his suggestion and he recommended the chicken cordon blue. We both... More

I read the TA reviews and was expecting a classic neighborhood bar with a great beer selection and good food. That's sort of what we experienced. It is a classic neighborhood bar that has not changed in decades is proud to be what it is. I liked the ambience of a working man's bar with lots of history. The beer... More

This is one of my favorite spots to just have a casual beer with friends and family. It has atmosphere and stays true to its college crowd!

Awesome beer selections and the staff are top notch. Very small kitchen that makes some real good eats. Love the Pig!

The Muddy Pig is about drink: distilled, or brewed &/or fermented. The tap selection is second to none in the Twin Cities. Bottled is only more expansive. A great selection of whiskeys too. The rating is about the drink. The food is average, in reality. The staff is nice. Enjoy.

At first glance the place looks like a classic Midwestern corner bar. Look closer. The beer and whiskey lists are amazing, and the bar tenders really know their stuff. The food is surprisingly good with the Cubano sandwich (piles of delicious pork) and Pastalaya (a perfectly seasoned, pasta-based take on Jambalaya) as standouts. The menu had plenty of straight forward... More

Muddy Pig is not quite a dive bar but has totally unpretentious atmosphere, old movies silently playing on tvs. Evan was cool, knowledgeable bartender who had an explanation for all the beers on the extensive tap list. Food was good too
